Hi there - We're sorry to hear you're not entirely satisfied with your washer and dryer. We'd like to help improve your experience. Please reach out to us on one of our social media platforms, like Facebook, via direct message. In your message, provide the model and serial numbers for your washer and dryer, and a copy of this review. We do want to note that the Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. We can assure you that even though the water level is lower, your clothes are still getting properly cleaned. We do recommend using an HE detergent to ensure proper operation of your washer as well. We are sorry to hear you are hearing this humming sound and can understand your concern. We recommend making sure your washer is completely level. All 4 legs are nylon with a 1" hex head foot pad or nut. The bottom of the nylon feet are rubber. On older Top Load washers, the front legs are adjustable up or down an inch and the rear legs are self-leveling. On newer Top Load and Front Load washers, all 4 leveling legs are adjustable. To set the rear self-leveling system on an older Top Load washer, tip the machine forward so that the rear legs are about 4" off the floor. Then, drop the washer to set the rear legs. They will automatically adjust to the level of the floor. We have a great video on our site if you'd like to check it out. It is titled: WASHER - LEVELING THE LEGS. It is our hope this is the issue, and it is resolved.

We are sorry to hear you are having this issue with your dryer. We recommend making sure you have the setting on a heat setting and not on fluff or cool down. We also recommend making sure your venting isn't clogged or blocked on the outside of your home. We hate to hear that you've not been pleased with the operation and quality of your new washer. We recommend making sure your washer isn't overloaded as this can lead to decreased wash performance.
