  • Bad Product and Worse Customer Service

    Do not buy this product!! We have only had it for eight months and it already broke down. Even worse, is the Best Buy customer service especially when paying extra for the protection plan. Do not buy the protection plan! It is worthless. They will only refer you to the manufacturer. Also, if your product breaks down on the weekend, you are totally out of luck and they won’t even schedule a service appointment. Best Buy customer service was awful and completely unhelpful. The customer service representative told me the truth and basically said that there’s nothing they can do and that’s their policy. If you need to buy an appliance, go to Home Depo or Lowes, which I should’ve stuck with. The Best Buy representative didn’t even know any steps to try to troubleshoot which I was easily able to find online although those did not help fix the issue.

    Unfortunately the unit i received has a bad defect and makes a loud 'bang' noise when the spin cycle stops. It is getting louder in my experience, the machine won't last long like this. Not best buy's fault. I do wish there was something that could be done as the washer is 4 weeks old, but GE is being non responsive.

    I’m not familiar with washers so pretty much the salesman had a win over me already. Told me the washer was for big loads and come to find out 2 years later it was not. In less than 2 years it gave out, I didn’t purchase the insurance thinking it was gonna last awhile.
