    Bought these thinking i would give them a try not paying attention to the other negative reviews . I got them installed yesterday Worked nice for 1 Wash . woke up the next morning with a text from the smart HQ app saying Update failed if washer not working call us . Would not turn on would not even give sighns of Life . SMH Save your money Go into the store talk to a best buy employee and go with Anything else but this im getting it returned for An LG with over 600+ reviews this thing is a DUD.

    It arrived broken along with the dryer. Yes, neither one worked. And I had to wait 5 days for them to come and get them because the delivery driver said he couldn't take it back.

    TERRIBLE - DON'T DO IT!

    Had one delivered and it didn't do the first wash - exchanged for a replacement and it did one load and then made a terrible noise and wouldn't work. Hopefully getting it replaced with something completely different this time. I haven't been able to get laundry done for almost two weeks now. I was so excited for this and really hoped it would be so much better. I'd take my awful front load back in a heartbeat right now.

    Help can’t figure out what cycle I need for my gar

    Hard to figure out what clothes should be washed in what….we clothes that don’t fit in the catagory ie bath robe what cycle do we use?

    I disliked that the washer had a few scratches. I liked that it is smart technology that you can view in your phone.

    This is the WORST washer I have ever had the misfortune to own. I want to return it but it is "No longer returnable". It does NOT clean the clothes well, almost every load has to be done over, it tangles pants & long sleeves into knots, even with the Tangle Control setting. It has actually torn 3 garments. A total waste of money. This is my 1st large appliance purchase from Best Buy and will be my last. So unhappy!!

      Hello - If you're experiencing an issue with connecting to Wi-Fi, we recommend that you follow the steps outlined on pg.14 of the owner's manual. Washer sounds may be different from your prior washer: Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds

    Worst washer i ever had. Has so many problems. Fills up spins and shakes doesnt stay balanced. I tried to take this item back the second month of purchase.

      Hello- We are very sorry to hear you are unhappy with your washer. This is a beautiful model and we want you to be happy with your purchase. All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.

      During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor. As a result, the clothes basket can move freely, and this is normal. If the washer doesn't correct itself during an out of balanced load, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty and reach out to GE Consumer Service by calling 1-800-432-2737.     Traded the first GE we bought for this one. Neither one will balance. I have to manually balance the load to stop what sounds like the house falling in. The loads will not balance. So disappointed

    DO NOT PURCASE!!! I HAVE HAD SERVICE OUT 3 TIMES, STILL NOT FIXED. It will only dry clothes completely on the timer setting. All other settings have to be run twice to complete drying

    My 2nd week with the washer the drum smsyatted shaking like crazy. Due to extreme vibration the whole wahser unti shifted 5-7 inch from its original place. Moving to Samsung.

    The washer only works on certain cycles - tech cannot "duplicate the issue"we are stuck with a washer that has be checked and changed every time we wash clothes. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Service is less than impressive.

    So far no matter what setting I put it on or how few clothes are in it, it is not cleaning them. They even come out still smelling.

      Hi,

      Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your washer. Our apologies to hear that your washer is not cleaning your clothes well and understand how annoying that is. To improve wash performance, use the correct amount and type of detergent, load carefully, and select the right amount of water and settings for your load size. Keep the lid closed during the wash cycle.


      Step 1: Select the right amount and type of detergent. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended amount for your load. Pre-treat stains if needed. If your washer has an infusor or precise-fill setting, you should use HE (High Efficiency) detergent. HE detergent is a low sudsing detergent. Contrary to other applications, suds in a washing machine can reduce cleaning performance.


      Step 2: Loosely load the clothing into the washer basket around of the outside of the basket. Pouring and/or compacting the load can lead to poor cleaning performance and increase wrinkling and tangling. Do not wrap items around the agitator or infusor as that can lead to increased wrinkling.


      Step 3: Close the lid. Select the settings for your washer cycle. Several washers can select the correct amount of water. Clothing that floats in the water may not get the optimum turnover to clean properly. Keep the lid closed during the entire wash cycle. We hope these tips help. Stay well. Mike@GEA GE_Appliances
