This washer is amazing. Firstly, it has a sleek matte blue finish and looks sharp. Secondly, it has some amazing technology, including phone alerts when the wash cycle is complete. It also has a large bin capacity and a pull out tray inside to place detergent, or pods, and fabric softener, etc. Amazing piece of technology.

Great washer and dryer set. I am still learning the new washer and how to best clean my clothes. There are so many options.

The first one I got had an issue with the Smart Dispense feature--it would not dispense at all. The replacement unit I got was pretty much dead on arrival. The delivery service ran a cycle to check if it was working. It started filling with water (about 5% of capacity) so we thought everything was ok. When he left, I turned it off and loaded it up with clothes. It would not start again. The water would not drain and a new cycle would not start. Two units received, two units with issues. I returned this GE for a Maytag. BTW, not sure who in corporate thought a blue washer was a good idea--it does not look very good. I only got it cuz the Graphite color was on backorder (which also wasn't impressive).

I like how big is this washer. Two thing I didn't like was the steam option. It was not very clear how to use it. Another one is that cloths are not getting very clean. I see that its not able to wash cloths properly due to less use of water. Also, I got the one with a minor defective lid. It was not closing on the left side but it didn't interfere with function of washer.

We were so excited to purchase a new washer and dryer pair. We had a 6 or 7 year old GE Profile set that worked pretty well but was starting to show its age so we figured it was time to replace them. We ordered the set back in November and they finally came about 2 weeks later. We got them all setup and then noticed that no matter how much detergent you put in the smart dispense it would always show it was empty. The dispenser holds 50oz although the manual says 75 oz. The machine is much louder than our old set and gets out of balance so easy and with heavier bulkier items it's even worse. It likes to add more water to balance and you just end up with soaked towels or blankets. The washer had so many features that we were excited about especially the smart dispense and for it not to work and be dead on arrival was really disappointing. Best Buy has been amazing throughout the entire process. We exchanged for another set and it came about 2 weeks later. The set that came arrived damaged and the delivery team wouldn't bring them inside. Okay, fair enough. We did another exchange and our new set arrived 12/28. We got it all setup and the same issue arose again. The smart dispense continues to show it's empty and doesn't work. I couldn't find any information on this set with this issue. The majority of GE's other sets that have the smart dispense just showed other customers with issues arising after a few weeks or months. I called GE to get some help troubleshooting and although the representative was extremely nice she was just reading from their website and I was doing the steps myself through the manual to no avail. The manual suggests purging the system but it does nothing. Add hot water to the dispenser. Nothing. We were considering just keeping the set but what is the point when the whole entire purchase revolved around having the smart dispense system. We are exchanging this set for another brand. They usually say 3 times is a charm but apparently not for these.

Seems to work well. It is a little more noisy that our old Whirlpool.

Works great. My clothes are very clean and the features are awesome. My kids actually ask to the their laundry now!

If I could give a 0 star review I would. In the first year I owned this machine, I had 3 visits from the Best Buy repairmen, who replaced the rusted drum and a squeaky belt. They tried to fix one of the electrical problems the washer has, but could not. They suggested I call the company that made the machine for future attempts. I found out that 'GE appliances' are actually no longer made by GE, but by a Chinese company called Haier. I have spoken with them many times over the past several months that their repairmen have come out, worked on the machine and then said they had to reschedule because they needed to order yet another new part. Now they want to completely rebuild the electrical system in the machine. I have begged them to replace this lemon with a decent washer, but they have refused every time I ask. Their customer service people are uninformed and rude. I have tried just dealing with the repairmen, but they are never told what is going on. All told, we've had 8 or so visits this year from repairmen, and they can't get this thing to work right. I WILL NEVER BUY A GE APPLIANCE AGAIN. Their product is unreliable and their customer service is worse.

my wife love this washer, it so spacious and very smooth. love the color and I am a fan of GE, still to early to give a full review but happy so far

Needed a new washer- so of course I got a matching dryer too! Love the gray color! Works great- a little loud when changing cycles. I would buy again

You could not pay me to purchase the GE Profile Smart Washer & Dryer ever again. We purchased these approximately 18 months years ago. Within that time, we are on our 2nd washer due to repeated malfunctions/inoperability to the point they finally replaced it 8 months ago. As of today, the replacement is also dead and inoperable. Always a different issue - from the compute board to now the lid lock mechanism. Complete hunk of junk. They may look cool, but they also feel really cheap - everything is like hollow plastic, definitely not a quality build. As a side note, the dryer is even worse - we are on dryer #4!

This washer does exactly what it is supposed to do. Our clothes come out smelling fresh and clean. Best Buy's delivery and installation went off without a hitch and the service person was friendly and professional.

So far, so good with this washer. Replaced an old Whirlpool washer that was about 10 years old with this model. Love the color. The auto detergent feature is great and easy to use. Everything works as expected.
