Stove
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This stove is so nice, the stovetop it self is stainless as well and it's so much easier to keep clean than the black stainless we previously had. Plus has an air fryer which we thought was nice.

Totally satisfied!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a terrific gas range and oven! I love the great control over temperature and the low profile, which allows for more room for larger pots and pans on the back burners. One thing that was puzzling and odd was how we couldn't initially find a way to switch on the oven light. Turns out, rather than a simple electronic button, the switch looks just like one of the burner knobs on the face of the oven. Go figure! :o) Despite this little bit of absurdity, I love my new GE Profile. I recommend!!

Looks great in my kitchn
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it overall. So far, I haven't gotten the results I wanted from the grill/griddle. It doesn't seem to get hot enough - even with preheating on high - to get a good char and the food. I especially love the steam clean feature; great to be able to clean the oven without the high heat and lockdown of the full clean cycle.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the stove, especially btu's of the bigger burners. The only thing that I don't like is that the oven shelves are hard to slide in and out.

Posted .We’re glad to hear you’re overall happy with your stove, and particularly its burners. We do regret that you’ve had some trouble with the oven racks, and you may want to try using a soft cloth or paper towel to rub vegetable oil on the left and right edges of the racks and/or rack supports. If it might be helpful, oven racks are discussed further on page 15 of the manual. You can view the manual on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. We hope this helps!

Not Happy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this range in may of 2024. Because of the time of year I didn't use the oven hardly at all. When I did use it it seemed like it things weren't getting done like they should. When I started check the temp I realized I wasn't crazy. Long story short, it took many weeks, 3 tech visits and lots of hassle to have it looked at and parts ordered and problem fixed. Even with all that the oven is still not working the way I think it should. Recently I tried the proof setting and it won't start up. I'm on the list for another service call. They will call me when they are able to schedule something. Who knows when that will happen. BTW I purchased from Home Depot not Best Buy. I don't think that matters this is a GE problem. So one of the things I learned is that due to digital operation the temperature fluctuates wildly. According to the service person they are designed with a 10% flux. So at 400 degrees it can go up or down by 10%. There are some settings that you can play with but mine currently ranges from 380 t0 435ish when set at 400. Also the left front double burner doesn't work properly. It barely lights at all on one side and way too high on the other. I absolutely would not recommend. I am soooooo sad about this. At my age this will probably be my last new range and I hate it. GE used to be my go to brand. NOT ANYMORE!

I will never purchase from Best Buy or GE again
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This range seemed like a great deal. Unfortunately, it never worked from day 1. While they get good reviews, if you have a defective one you're in for a real headache. After multiple attempts and months to get it "repaired", GE finally agreed to take a return. This means my family, with two small kids, and I were without an oven for 3 months. Although, they charged my credit card for the item, plus delivery and installation, immediately. After hours of also haggling with Best Buy for a refund of the installation they "agreed" to send us a check, which as of this writing on May 6 (original order Jan 30), I still haven't seen. I spoke with Best Buy this morning and they claim the refund was "inadvertently purged" from the system. What a surprise. We went and bought a great LG from a local family-owned and reputable appliance dealer in the Boston-area and are very happy. Of course, we ended up having to pay more, but it's worth the peace of mind. I would discourage anyone from buying appliances at Best Buy. Go to a local business that actually has good customer service. You'll be saving yourselves from potentially having to deal with a lot of unnecessary stress!

Posted .Thank you for sharing your feedback. You can clean the Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel by using a solution of mild soap and warm water with a clean, soft cloth or microfiber cloth. Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth or microfiber towel to avoid streaking or water spotting. If this finish is scratched, using the cleaning method mentioned above can often help reduce the appearance of the scratches. For heavy or more visible scratches, there is not an approved repair method to cover the scratches. Lauren@GEAppliances

Lemon - DO NOT BUY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this range in August 2022. It has never worked properly, even after multiple service calls, and GE refuses to replace it. In addition to none of the fan modes working properly (convection bake, roast, air fry), it has ignition issues that make me worry about a fire hazard. On one repair visit the tech found the wire to the convection fan was hitting the fan blade and shorting, and the oven vent fan was not properly plugged in. I basically paid $2200 for a range where the only operable features would be found on a $700 range. I'm done with GE.
