Dryer is GREAT , Wi-Fi function misleading.

The control Wi-Fi function is a little misleading. You can’t just control it all time from your phone. You have to hit delay start and then start it from your phone within 24 hrs. I was hoping to start my dryer when I remember my kids need their dry nap mat I left in the dryer Sunday night/ Monday morning at 345am from my phone. Instead I still have to get up and go do this in my laundry room.

The metal and doors feel very flimsy but I guess that is how things are made these days, compared to the 15 year old dryer this replaced. The best cycle for drying is the timed cycle as the sensored cycles do not dry the clothes as much as I prefer, even when I choose hot heat and more dry as settings.

We have always found GE Profile appliances to be top notch. Although we only have had it less than two months this GE dryer is working perfectly. All of the different settings allow for different drying ranges for load size, type of material being dried and whether you only want it partially dried. Recently we dried a king size very thick comforter. The dryer setting allowed us to have this huge comforter dried in record time. No more going to commercial laundromats!!

The large capacity is wonderful for when the kids get home from college and have a ton of laundry to do. The wifi notifications are nice to know when the clothes are done.
