Great Product and Fantastic Delivery

Very Fairly priced and out perform all the other brands. The Delivery is fantastic! The guys that deliveried were very interested in our satisfaction.... which is hard to find now.

Mixed bag, and not as great as we'd hoped

For one, I really like the ability to customize the settings. We also really appreciate the app connectivity which helps us to restart the dryer as it comes towards its end. That takes me to the parts that we don't quite like: For some reason, it does not dry our clothes efficiently. And it is paired up with a partner washing machine that supposedly alerts the dryer as to the settings it needs to employ. That seemed to never work, and then we just dry everything on the highest setting, which sadly never gets the job done the first time through. We actually need to constantly run a second cycle to get it to dry. Seeing as we were replacing a dryer that was about 20 years old where we had to do the same thing, this is very frustrating for such an expensive and new piece of technology. So four stars for the app connectivity and the multitude of settings, but two stars for its sad inability to properly dry a normal load of clothing.

Now the heating element isn’t working again! Only two years old and on its third repair. Customer service is awful, repair and parts took over a month.

Not happy at all

I didn’t purchase an additional warranty so I had to use the manufacture warranty to get it fixed. I wanted to purchase the matching washer but I didn’t think that’s a good idea. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the size of the dryer.

Horrible Set

I first made the order and the washer was ok and the dryer came in bad. I scheduled a return exchange and the second time the washer was bad and the dryer was ok. Third time I kept the dryer and exchanged the washer, things worked well for about 2 weeks (as soon as the return policy ended). After the 2 weeks the dryer does not heat up the same, it takes 3 cycles to dry a set of clothes. This is the worst experience a customer could have. I’ve been a long time best buy customer but I’m never buying anything from best buy again. DO NOT make the same mistake I did, don’t buy this set.

Posted .We regret to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your washer and dryer. We recommend checking the vent hose on the back of the dryer and the vent cap on the outside of your home for any type of restriction or obstruction that would affect the drying performance as you described. Also, if you have not already done so, we encourage you to disconnect power to your dryer for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. If you continue to have concerns with the drying performance once the power has been restored, we recommend calling Bodewell, our authorized service team directly at 1-833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. ET to have your dryer evaluated and repaired as needed. -Vikki@GEAppliances
