    Issues with the lint screen. I clean it after every use as prescribed, but it still allows lint to escape into the dryer.

    I have gone through all of settings and read through the manual, but cannot get the dryer to complete drying cycles where the clothes are actually dry. The sensors don’t seem to read the moisture correctly and the dryer turns off before the clothes are dry even with the setting on “Max Dry”. I was going to return the dryer, but only had a two week window, so I’m now going to have to deal with the warranty and manufacturer. NOT HAPPY!

    About 2 months old and already broke down

    I was excited about the purchase, but after 2 months, the motor would not start. The controls were lit and the app would tell me it washed a load, but it wouldn’t do anything. Called service and they had to replaced the lid lock and had to order a new motor and multiple parts to assemble the motor. It takes 2 weeks for the parts to arrive so I’m having to wash at a laundromat. Crazy thing is that my previous washer and dryer lasted me 14 years without a hiccup until the end of their days.

    Lack Of Communication

    My only issue was that the product didn’t come with a power cord. When I order it online it never said that was extra. When I went in Best Buy to ask about it they told it doesn’t come with one. Wish it would have said that online.

IF you find after troubleshooting that your unit is still taking a really long time to dry then we would sugggest calling one of our technicians to come look at your dryer.     The dryer looks nice. I was pleased to have a matching set. Apparently looks is all it has. It failed to do its main job was to dry. No matter what setting, no matter max dryness, no matter how many hours of running time, clothes end up damp. After owning a couple days, I'm returning it.

    First dryer delivered with big dent in it. Got it replaced. Operates for over an hour on small or medium loads and doesn't dry clothes completely.

      We recommend checking the vent on the back of the dryer and the vent cap on the outside of your home for any type of obstruction or restriction as it could affect the drying performance.     Not only are you purchasing the appliance but they include absolutely nothing for parts for installing it into your home. They make you purchase even the power cord for this product. So be ready to spend an extra $400 just to use your dryer. NEVER AGAIN FROM BEST BUY

    I’m a bit disappointed in this dryer, because it does not always completely dry some clothes and towels in one cycle. It often requires additional drying time. We never had to do this with previous dryers.

    The dryer does not dry well seems to take extra time from previous dryers I’ve had. I’ve only had it 6 months to the day and stopped drying completely so now waiting for techs to come out.

Search for the article titled “Dryer - Noises” on the GE Appliances website in the Support section for a listing of all the normal noises you can expect. -- Another cause could be the dryer sitting unevenly. In that case, it should be moved to an even floor space or adjust the legs as necessary until even.
