We know this isn't ideal, and we completely understand your disappointment. -- We recommend making sure that this electric dryer is connected to a separate, dedicated 208V/240V electrical outlet for the best performance. An electric dryer may run with a partial voltage of 120 volts, but it will not heat unless it has a 208V/240V power supply. Dryer not drying

Poor quality of GE dryer and GE washer!

Also had to take the door off to get it in the laundry room and had to remove the by folding doors because they would not close. This room had a previous washer and dryer that fit in this area that is specifically setup for a washer and dryer. I was so disappointed! GE Washer had a huge dent in the front and had the same space problem getting in the doorway which is specifically set up for a washer and dryer

You may want to make sure the lint filter is clear and the ducting is clean and unobstructed. We do have additional tips about what to try if the drying time seems to be too long, shown on page 12 of the manual which is available at this link: https://files.bbystatic.com/CUSbRj%2FFT1IneUQW56Rw4w%3D%3D/Owners%2BManual . I love that the app notifies you when the dryer is done its cycle and another notification if the clothes have been sitting in the dryer for more than 30 minutes. Only downfall is that often times the normal cycle doesn't fully dry items such as jeans or towels, you need to make sure you select the "jeans" or bulky items cycle - which isn't that big of a deal, just something to be cognizant of.

Smartest Dryer in existence!

Nice dryer

Allows you to be specific with your loads (delicates, jeans, & towels), for example. Window in the door and light inside is also nice touch. Easy to clean filter, nice dryer.

Just have to remember to remove all those extra buttons which adds a lot more drying time for completion. You really don’t need all those extra’s. It’s fine with the basic settings.
