Posted .We would like to provide guidance with this dryer. Drying performance will vary based on multiple factors such as the size of the load, the type of fabric (cottons hold more water than synthetics), the wetness of the clothes and the condition of your exhaust ventilation. Using the proper venting material and making sure the vent ductwork is the proper length is very important to the operation of a dryer. We recommend the use of a solid metal vent pipe 4" in diameter for adequate operation. 4" diameter flexible metal venting may be used but will increase the drying time. We don't recommend the use of flexible, white, plastic vent pipe. This type of vent pipe can collapse and restrict the airflow, causing lint to build up inside the dryer. We also advise removing and cleaning the lint filter each time it is used. The filter can be washed with warm soapy water to remove fabric softener residue from the screen.
We have provided some additional troubleshooting tips to help with the drying of your items in the article "Dryer - Taking Too Long To Dry Clothes or Not Drying at All" on our GE Appliances website. I have use it for a few weeks multiple times to dry many loads of clothes...very friendly to use... my grandma lives with me and she loves it as well.

It does not dry clothes. Just did another load and this time only filled half the washer thinking I'm overloading the dryer. Nope. After 1:15 minutes the dryer finished its run. I go down there to fold and nope. Still wet. Just fired it up for another 90 minutes. Wish I had acted sooner on this as I'm past my return period. Bottom line... I gotta go get another dryer. It will NOT be a GE. So disappointed. DO NOT BUY!
