The quality of the Prestige series is excellent but more than anything this machine operates as intended and better. The venting has been great in keeping the machine dry to prevent that humidity most front loads are plagued with. It is also very quiet. Highly recommend this and the dryer pair.

Dryer works well - need more app functionality

They added the Profile name to this upgrade. The main upgrade to this W&D pair are on the washing machine. It has been used about two months and no issues. It does wobble a bit on the matching GE pedestal, which I am told is due to the lack of weight. The SmartHQ app is lacking features, only allowing you to see the status, track dryer sheet usage, be notified when time is up, and enable a 30 min wrinkle tumble. It does not let you start, stop, change settings, or continue the current setting. Some buttons on the machine require you to hold down the button for 3 seconds for multi function, but difficult to set, like the volume level as there is no visual indicator. The drying rack is extra ($70). If you order (from GE), make sure they don't send you the shoe rack. Use the model number in the dryer manual. Wish there were more colors to choose from than just the gray - but the gray looks fine.

They can link and know exactly what cycle to dry your clothes at based on what cycle you washed them in. Amazing technology. Dries clothes so fast.

It also takes less time to dry with about 20 minutes less, and this is using medium heat. The door can be changed which is very convenient when you have both the dryer and washer. Just think twice if you decide to stack the dryer on top of a washing machine. The location of the buttons will be very high up and the display will be difficult to see. Side by side is the best option.

GE Profile Upgrade

Great dryer but Delia and install is useless

The best dryer I every had!

You wouldn't believe how much time and energy you save using it. I could put two king size quits/ comforters in it easily, and there's still some space for a good tumble. I love it!
