We have it set on a timer and we use it everyday. My daughter purchased one about a month before we we purchased it. She loves hers as well and highly recommended it to us.

If you use distilled water you will never have any mineral buildup or cleaning issues. I don't know why distilled water isn't a requirement. This new 2.0 version is really the 3rd generation and we love it! These aren't cheap but worth it. Once again....use distilled water!
