I loved this ice maker however, shortly after purchasing it started making a loud grinding noise. I returned my first one and got another machine. Shortly after that one started making the same noise. Multiple calls to GE and they always told me I just needed to clean it. I always clean my machine and yet this noise persisted. I asked for GE to send me a new machine but they told me to “try” their recommendations first. I told them I was worried about the warranty expiring but they assured me that since I had placed calls BEFORE my warranty that I would be covered. My last call made to them the representative told me I needed to do a deep clean and “prime” my pump and thus would fix my problem. I was so excited as no one ever told me to prime my pump. I followed her instructions and now my ice maker does not make ice! I called GE this morning and told the representative I would like a new ice maker and she told me “Sorry, it’s out of warranty”. When I asked her to review my notes and the confirmation that my warranty would still be valid since I had placed multiple calls she told me that she has no notes on my account. So, now I’m stuck with a machine that doesn’t work and all my patience and trust that GE was going to stand behind this machine was all talk. They pacify you until it’s out of warranty. So disappointed! GE STAND BY YOUR PRODUCTS…

Absolutely the best ice machine I’ve ever used. The ice is soft and love the Bluetooth feature. I actually have bought two of these that’s how much I love it!

This Ice maker is great. I purchased it for my brother as a birthday gift. He luvs it.

The ice is fantastic when the machine is finally working. I had to return my 1st one because the extra water tank wouldn't refill. I returned the ice machine and Best Buy gave me a different one without the tank. This one works better but I refill it which can be a pain. I was told they are moving away from the refill tank. Not sure if this is actually accurate info. We do love the ice ... my advice is to purchase the warranty and keep replacing as needed. It's kind of a hassle.

We’ve had this for 2 years and still love this machine. Works well, we are able to connect it to our phone and set up an on and off schedule that fits our life for when we need ice or not. The side tank is a game changer though, I would highly recommend buying the one with the side tank. It does need a good cleaning and regular cleaning. But even that is pretty easy.

Love this machine! My wife and kids are addicted to crushed ice and use it all the time. Would highly recommend using distilled water, prevents break downs. We have used ours constantly for the last 16 months without a hitch.

Knocked up my wife and she’s having a hard time with food and drinks. So we got this so she could get some fluids down. She Loves it! Ice is ready in 20min whatever you don’t use melts back into the reservoir and is made back into ice. Even the kids are enjoying it

To say i am not happy is an understatement. A $600 appliance that only makes ice for 1 person (1 to 2 glasses a day) does not last more than 2 years is beyond frustrating. I should have done more research, as everyone is stating they the unit stops working after 2 years. I love the ice, the reliability is a different story. Definately would not purchase again.

This I’ve maker is amazing!! Set up was easy but the best part is the ICE. It constantly makes ice so we never run out and we are a family of 5. I love having spring water pellet ice. Every drinks is awesome now! This is definitely one of the best purchases I have made.

Ok So I returned this item. It was bough as a gift. The ice was good and it does last a while compared to traditional ice but the amount of money for the ice maker which doesn't even keep the ice cold cannot do it. Gave it 5 stars cause it works as intended just not for me.

Best ice ever! Was a little worried about making this purchase after reading some of the reviews. But, we haven’t had any issues with our machine and we LOVE the bigger ice.

The ice maker was easy to assemble and the additional reservoir allows for a full bin office to be produced in about 3 hours. If you don’t use the ice, it’s stays in the bin until you are ready and doesn’t melt terribly fast.

Really like the mini cube ice. Being in hawaii we really miss Sonics as their ice is the best and this ice maker machine remind me of it. The crunch of the ice is satifying

Everything you could wish for and more!!!! I kept seeing this on bloggers posts... finally caved. Easy to clean and makes the best ice. We only run distilled bottled water through it! WELL worth the money!
