This has done so much better than expected. It is the perfect ice. I no longer buy ice. Wish I had not waited so long to buy this. Highly recommend I promise you will not be disappointed.

This is the best ice maker on the market. My kids love grabbing ice out of the machine to eat. Highly recommend as it’s great for drinks.

Excellent product, love this so much. My mom was constantly going out to get ice from sonic, and with all that was going on I didn’t want her to up her risk. Now she gets her ice nuggets at home and we know she isn’t putting herself at risk as much.

Most reviews skip over the electricity consumption. This device takes the same amount of power as a full size family fridge! I expected this to take less power than a mini fridge, but I was wrong. The power meter shows average 170w while it's making ice. (mini fridge is 60w)The meter shows between 23 - 27 cents a day it costs to run. For comparison my full size 26cuft fridge costs 24 -38 cents/day and it also makes ice. So this appliance is not energy efficient. If you noticed there is an option schedule to turn it off, that's because you have to turn it off to get any sleep. This is the loudest appliance we own, louder than the washing machine and dryer, but less than a vacuum cleaner. There are a few components that make noise, water pump (minor buzz hum ~ 38db), compressor (~50db, louder than any household fridge, enough for everyone to comment on it's noise level, but not obnoxious), Ice Salver (~62db the part that rotates and makes the ice, loud rattle hum). I have cleaned it with both bleach and their acid cleaner for lime build up, and only use double filtered city water. For comparison My fridge is ~38db, dishwasher ~36, microwave ~45, washer ~48. Vacuum ~97db

Good while it works. The machine developed an unberable grinding and whining noise. I purchased a protection plan for it, but Best buy is refusing to service it even with 2 year protection plan because the protection plan is only good for 1 year... apparently.

Love this machine!! Had it for a few weeks now and it works great. Makes ice fast. In fact I can store the extra in the freezer for extra. With the auto fill the bin is always full. Highly recommend. Oh yeah, the soft nugget ice is the real deal.

Honestly. The ice is great but it randomly and regularly squeals like a banshee. Called GE support this morning and they told me to talk to Best Buy about their product. Needless to say I was shocked and will be calling Best Buy Monday probably just to be told to call GE about their product. …

This unit replaces my old one. I had to original model before it was a GE product. That one finally quit after 4 years. I upgraded to this newest model and I will say it makes ice even faster than the old one and can hold a full gallon of water at a time.

Expensive, but worth every penny. This machine has saved my summer, and has made me a hero amongst my family. Restaurant quality ice at home.

I’ve only had this ice maker about a month, but I really like it. The ice is even better than Sonic’s and it’s WiFi.

I love my GEProfile Opal 2.0 24lb ice maker, it makes the best ice nuggets. I love to chew on ice, and this is the best ice to crunch on. I am addicted. The only issue is that it does use a lot of electricity, but I still highly recommend it.

Quick ice maker, the only thing is we have to keep fill the water to keep the ice

We upgraded to this icemaker when our other nugget icemaker went out. This icemaker keeps up with our 6 person family and makes the best ice.

Love this ice maker! You have to clean it on a regular basis but if you do it is wonderful!

We had one of the very first machines made (#53) from indie gogo. Needed to replace it and this one is much quieter than the original which is really nice. Makes ice the same but I do have to say that the water tank does seem smaller. Still a great machine.

Have only had it for a week, it's great so far. We pour snow cone syrup over a glass of this ice for a cold treat. I will update this if things change.

Awesome machine. If you like good ice to chew on it makes perfect ice for that. We use bottled water in it and have had no issues with it.
