It makes amazing ice, but within 3 weeks of plugging it in it started making these horrible screeching noises. It was just once every few days at a first and now it is almost constant. It puts itself in defrost mode at least once an hour and is so loud it’s hard to watch tv 20 feet away. I am calling Best Buy tomorrow to return it. We have barely had it a month, and it’s awful. Which is sad because I love the ice it makes. However, it was way too expensive to be this loud and screechy. Now I see so many people have had the same problems with just a couple of weeks after purchase.
