If you use distilled water you will never have any mineral buildup or cleaning issues. I don't know why distilled water isn't a requirement. This new 2.0 version is really the 3rd generation and we love it! These aren't cheap but worth it. Once again....use distilled water!

I finally bit the bullet to get this one. I am in love! It's sleek, beautiful and so quiet. I strongly recommend it.
