Excellent machine, produces great ice, simple and practical. Recommend using spring water to make your ice, it enhances the taste and keeps the machine clean.

Great product! I love the sleek and modern look of this ice maker. It matches everything in the kitchen and produces those perfect nuggets. It’s pretty quiet and makes new ice fairly quickly. Lastly, it’s super user-friendly!

Love it! The side tank is a must. Overall a bit pricey. I use filtered water and it makes great ice in short time and keeps up with my family.

Returned it. Yes it makes great ice however there is a 10+ step process to clean it every week so it doesn't build up mildew. I do not need anymore maintenance in my life. It constantly runs so have it stored where you can't hear it. Other than that, it would have been a keeper

I love my water to be SUPER cold so I’m always getting ice by the bags. I was done with buying bags and told my husband that we’re probably spending about the same amount with all the bags we’ve bought! I had a little ice maker but it couldn’t keep up with my ice intake :) So we went to Best Buy to look for one. As soon as I walked in, I saw this beauty and said yep, she’s coming home with me!! I’ve had her for over a year now and she’s paid for herself numerous times. IF YOU LOVE ICE AS MUCH AS I DO, GET THIS ICE MAKER! This was best investment that I ever purchased! The WiFi and the app to let you know when to clean it, or to add more water is so convenient. Y'all get one, especially if you love that Sonic ice!

Love, love, love my chic ice maker. Easy to use and makes nice soft ice chips. Great for parties and every day use.

We purchased this for our home because we love the little nugget ice like sonic has. Absolutely love this ice machine. We have 5 people in our family and it keeps up the ice for all of us.

Well I loved this ice maker and the nugget ice is the best!!! But there are flaws with this machine. First it is sooo loud. Making the ice is loud. Other times the defrost mode makes the machine scream/squeak so loudly. Also this machine needs to be cleaned out on a regular basis per the instructions. This includes draining it and cleaning with bleach. I wanted to love it but had to return it. I hope they improve the technology or offer nugget ice in refrigerators. For now it’s back to Chick-fil-A

Do you love the sonic nugget ice? This is even better. I love this machine. My first one lasted almost 5 years but luckily I bought the extra warranty and Bestbuy just gave me another when it quit. Would still but it again even tho that happened.

I purchased this nugget ice maker after the ice maker in my fridge no longer worked. I was sick of buying ice and needed a solution. I am an ice chewers so nugget ice made the beat sense as less impactful on teeth. the ice make is easy to use and makes ice quickly. I turn it on after work and trum off before I go to bed. I put the surplus ice in a freezer bin to use when needed. I am very happy with the ice maker. No issues but wish the container kept the ice frozen so would not need to put excess in freezer.

Great little ice maker and no cold water line hook-up! But it is a little expensive. AND the latest version 2.0 - not sold on Amazon - added wifi so programming it was a breeze. Now it is only on when we need it.

Great additional Ice maker. The Nuggert ice is great with any drink and even by itself. Machine is easy to use.

This ice maker is amazing and it keeps up with 5 adults. Some reviews state that it is noisy, but honestly, it doesn't bother us when the TV is on. I would definitely recommend this one! Easy set up and easy to fill water reservoir.

IceMaker worked great, until it didn't - stopped making ice, and started making large noises after about 10 mos. Good news: It was still under warranty. Bad news: I've been dealing with OnPoint Support (Opal's support and service warranty provided) to get a replacement unit shipped for more than 2 months, and though they've agreed to replace (exchange) it, they haven't yet been able to get it shipped. Terribly frustrating. Had it not bee for this very poor support experience, I could have rated the machine a 5 - if you like this shape of ice, it's the best!

Love this thing! So easy to use and get the amazing nugget ice, easy to clean and not that loud when making ice.

Worked great and made amazing ice for 10 months. We regularly cleaned it and only used filtered water. About 11 months in, it began taking longer to make ice. Now, at 11.5 months, it is making the most horrendous, grinding and squealing noises. The only way to stop it is to unplug it for a few seconds. It then stops, but it starts making them again in a couple of hours. Bad unit, or VERY expensive junk?? Whichever it is, it needs to be fixed, because $500 is too expensive for this thing not to last several years (especially when we clean it often and only use filtered water!!)
