Used ofr the first time this past weekend. Pro's : makes ice quickly and with good consistency, just like getting "Sonic" ice, inexpensive compared to a full-size machine... and the unit has solid construction (not lightweight) Con's : took a few minutes to set-up and run through the initial cleaning, ice storage bin is very small, and the water reservoir needs to be refilled frequently

Love it but I’ve had to replace it 3 times for an awful noise it was making! Glad I bought the warranty!

I love Opal. This is my second unit. The first model didn't have a tank. I thought it was a silly addon. I was wrong. The tank is great. This unit is also much quieter than my previous one, but makes the same great ice. When this unit outlives itself, i'll be back at Best Buy buying another. When old model died, Best Buy had new unit in stock. I picked it up curbside wham bam home cleaning it and making ice again within 1 hour.

Continuously and quickly makes perfect nugget ice chips every time. With the reservoir on the side it practically guarantees that you'll always have ice. Keeps up with my heavy demands for ice. Makensure you clean regularly and buy the correct cleaning agent for the nugget ice maker. It's a bit pricey but if you catch a sale, jump on it!

I don’t like reviewing electronics until at minimum of the first year… in this case this ice maker failed at the 2year mark.. of course out of warranty and in this item I didn’t purchase the extended warranty as I signed up for the Best Buy program at a later date. Been difficult to get repaired have calls into several repair companies including GE waiting to here back. Priced too high for only two years of use.

Love this little Nugget Ice machine. This is my 2nd one. We make 3-6 buckets every day & wore my last one out in less than 5 years. Luckily I had the extended warranty for 5 years & was totally refunded my original purchase price. So, we bought a new one at a lesser price than the 1st one & it's new and improved and we love it. Highly recommend it.

We've tried other home ice makers before, but this is our clear favorite... easy to install, easy to maintain, and produces great, chewable pebble ice at 5 pounds per hour, and with a very small footprint. It fits under any standard cabinet.

How I regret not buying this sooner. this makes the BEST ice and so quickly. A little louder than my old one but that one sucked.

My husband bought this ice maker for me because I like to eat ice. And I absolutely LOVE the ice that this machine makes! Everyone at our house is drinking icy drinks and crunching ice :) The water reservoir holds quite a bit and I was able to stockpile ice for a gathering in about a day and a half. I am excited about my ice maker and would definitely recommend this product!!

Bought this for my wife, but my whole family, including me is completely enjoying this. We chose this because at my daughter's work they have an older model in the break room with lots of people using it, and its wonderful.

This was good for a while but it kept breaking. Loved the ice when it worked

I thought it was going to be "meh". It was expensive, and it just makes ice. I thought, "So, there are cheaper ice makers; there are smaller ones; there are ones that make round ice. Why would I spend so much money? The Wifi? No. That's dumb." Well, I WAS WRONG. I plugged it in and WIZ. BANG. ZOOP. The ice was flying out. Left. Right. Up. Straight into the glass. It was like the chronglestomp fairy just had a bunch of ice babies that were round and crunchy. FOR THE PEOPLE. GET THE ICE.

Everyone loves this ice. Easy set up. Little loud when running to make the ice. But not to bad. Overall pleased.

This is by far the coolest and most useful gadget, that i’m enjoying at the moment! It’s the perfect setup in my home office, where i can enjoy beverages on ice while i’m hard at work. The ice does not disappoint…its soft, delicious and quite self-sufficient.

Makes the perfect soft nugget ice, best with Sparkling water. Easy to clean, app is great and easy to use!

It is a little noisy, but my family has never enjoyed ice more?!?! It is not the cheapest but worth the money I believe!

Easy set up, makes ice pretty fast. Have not used for a large gathering yet but seems to make a try of ice pretty fast.

Best purchase I've made this year!! Fits nicely on my coffee bar. The ice is perfect ( just like hospital ice)
