Love it!! Makes ice fast and is quiet!! I am pleased with this one!!!

Setup was easy...After going through the cleaning process, filled the tank and had the first ice in 14 minutes. Ice is great. We also gained some space in our freezer since we dont use our ice maker any more. If you can afford this ice maker and like the nugget style ice then I recommend you go for it.

Excellent product. Super fast and easy set up. Easy to maintain and clean. Definitely recommend this product. I've had this product about a month and have been very happy with the outcome. We are a family of 5 and used 16 ice trays a day having to refill them. With this machine we haven't even had to use the ice treats.

First off this thing makes perfect pellet ice. I was a little worried that It wouldn't produce enough ice but it's been able to keep up with our daily ice needs. Also, I'm super happy cause I just saved myself $4,000.00 by not having to buy my wife a undercounted Scotsman pellet ice maker. However, this thing is very loud! Luckily I had a spot for it in my bar so it's tucked away from the main part of our house. If you plan on putting this in your kitchen THINK TWICE before buying this. MINUS 1 star for noise.

This is a must have item for people who love nugget ice but it does have some issues. Pros: -Looks nice -Has wifi/app to schedule ice making -Ice is soft and chewy -Has side tank Cons: -Can be loud when making ice -WiFi/App can be flaky and every couple of months it has to be reset and the schedule redone -Takes up a lot of counter space -Expensive One more thing to note, don't be dumb like I was and put the ice bin or side tank in the dishwasher because they can and will shrink and warp (don't ask me how I know :( ).

Best purchase we've made in a long time!! Most used appliance in our house! Good chewing ice, just not quite as good as Sonic. These nuggets are a little harder, but still love it! Makes every beverage so much more enjoyable!

Been looking for a ice maker like this for a good bit and i was not dissapointed. Soft ice like pellets easy to eat (Like the ones you get at the ER) really good if you plan on making anything with ice in a blender it comes out like an slushy without any chunks. Note i did not use the WIFI so this review is without use of that.

My family loves this ice maker. This is my second machine. The first machine was clogged up from the hard water build up. I did clean the machine, but I guess not as often as I should have. Luckily, I had the Geek Squad protection on this device, as well as my other purchases from Best Buy. I walked in my local Best Buy, they looked up my account, and gave me a new one in the box. The newer model now will now flash "CLEANING" on the L.E.D. control panel when it is time to be cleaned. This happens every 100 hours of use while the machine is making ice.

This is a pellet ice maker. This is so not worth the money that was paid for it. This was supposedly a gift for my birthday despite the fact that I never use it nor did I ask for it. It is constantly cleaning itself and always out of water. We even have the extra side container for water. I finally had to uninstall the app due to all of the alerts I was getting. Someone that may be deep into the GE ecosystem of products may love this product. In fact, before I accidentally found out what was spent on this I asked my wife to take it back. By the time I knew the price tag, it was too late. My wife and kids use it and like it. I won’t even fill up the water. It just takes up a lot of space in my bar.

This ice maker is a permanent part of my family that’s how good it is, we have a household of 8 and it keeps up just make sure you put water in the tank. The Ice is so good that it can turn hot coffee cold and still last in the cup.

Love it! Wife loves it! Great tasting ice. I prefer to use distilled water because I have hard water at home.

I love this ice maker. It is very expensive, but worth it. The ice works well and is made quickly. We haven't had any issues with it. The ice is the type that is safe to chew which makes our kids really happy.

The ice is made quickly and is perfect. Only down side is the cleaning process since i have hard water. That has been fixed by me buying large bottled waters.

Excellent ice maker, makes Sonic ice quickly. We use ours at home and carry it with us when we camp in our motor home and it pays for itself in savings by not having to buy ice. But it’s the quality and crunch of the ice my wife loves. Best birthday gift ever. Be sure to get Geek Squad protection.

I love the Opal 2.0 Ice Maker!! I always have plenty of ice when I need it. I love the fact that the ice stays frozen for the most part and the tank on the side keeps the maker filled. The more ice you use, the more ice it makes.

We love our GE Opal Ice Maker. We had a little issue but Best Buy replaced it quickly. We empty it probably twice a day.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this. I decided the smartest thing to do was to get the GSP plan and regularly maintain it. This is a pricey appliance. As much as a full blown refrigerator. It's not your set it and forget type of thing. That being said, know the water in your area and plan your maintenance around that. Buy the proper products needed to keep it clean. We haven't had any issues with it not filling the ice bucket to capacity. We downloaded the app, put the machine on a schedule and updated it. All app featured tech will need updates. Make sure you do your due diligence and then you can decide if it's a problem with the machine itself. It's a solid device. I would recommend.
