Makes ice really fast. Can keep up with family of 4. Removable water reservoir makes it easy to keep full of water. Highly recommend product.

We have the GOOD ice !!! My husband got this for his birthday & he absolutely LOVES it! It is a lil on the pricey side.. but how do you put a price on good ice ? The Puns have been non stop. We may be broke - but we have good ice! The kids love it too !

It's good. Makes ice, like it says it does. Pricey so the average person is not going to pick this bad boy up. But i do love the ice.

If you love "good" ice, this is the machine for you. I love the app where you can program the on/off cycles from your phone. It does make a bit of noise so take that into account. It is a good looking machine that will compliment your kitchen.

Wonder machine. Very easy to setup. Only downside is it ruins drinks because you cant have a drink without the ice after you use it once. Bought one for my sister as well.

Best decision I’ve ever made buying this machine. Well worth the money. Super quiet, except when the ice does drop but it doesn’t even make that much noise. Super easy to use and I love being able to use the app!

Love my icemaker. Produces ice pretty quickly. We learned pretty quickly to use bottled water. Hard water will have you doung the cleaning cycle every other week.

Love my ice maker I didn’t realize I’d eat that much ice but it’s sooo good lol, it’s not the cheapest one but you get what you pay for for sure

This was one of my best purchases of all time. I literally use this every day. This really is the good ice!! This counter top ice machine makes the pellet ice that we all know and love. If you’re thinking about buying one do it!! It’s absolutely worth it!!

When it works, it's the best ice at home you'll ever have. The problems started about 6 months in when it completely locked up. It was under manufacturer's warranty, but they replaced it with a refurb. It has been working, but that sucker gets REALLY hot. If/when it dies and is out of warranty, we'll replace with another one.

This little machine is fantastic. We frequently run out of ice on the refrigerator if we are having cocktails or even summer drinks for the kid. The Opal 2.0 makes a ton of light, crunchy ice and everyone loves it. It is expensive but well worth it if you use a lot of ice.

To say i am not happy is an understatement. A $600 appliance that only makes ice for 1 person (1 to 2 glasses a day) does not last more than 2 years is beyond frustrating. I should have done more research, as everyone is stating they the unit stops working after 2 years. I love the ice, the reliability is a different story. Definately would not purchase again.

The Opal 2.0 is one of the best purchases our household has ever made! It produces just the right amount of ice each day. The design is extremely functional while still looking good. Our family constantly comments that they don’t know how we ever lived without it.

Love Love Love this icemaker... great ice and quick.. we are not even using the ride tank.. just 2 of us and it’s perfect. Only slight criticism is the WiFi keeps losing connection.. hope the fix that in an update. Got it on sale and have recommended to several friends.

Love this ice maker. Well made, quiet, makes nugget ice reasonably fast and is a good looking unit in the kitchen. I haven't connected it via Wifi (why do I need my ice maker to be online again??), but I'm sure that feature will work well if needed. Highly recommend this thing.

I loved this ice maker however, shortly after purchasing it started making a loud grinding noise. I returned my first one and got another machine. Shortly after that one started making the same noise. Multiple calls to GE and they always told me I just needed to clean it. I always clean my machine and yet this noise persisted. I asked for GE to send me a new machine but they told me to “try” their recommendations first. I told them I was worried about the warranty expiring but they assured me that since I had placed calls BEFORE my warranty that I would be covered. My last call made to them the representative told me I needed to do a deep clean and “prime” my pump and thus would fix my problem. I was so excited as no one ever told me to prime my pump. I followed her instructions and now my ice maker does not make ice! I called GE this morning and told the representative I would like a new ice maker and she told me “Sorry, it’s out of warranty”. When I asked her to review my notes and the confirmation that my warranty would still be valid since I had placed multiple calls she told me that she has no notes on my account. So, now I’m stuck with a machine that doesn’t work and all my patience and trust that GE was going to stand behind this machine was all talk. They pacify you until it’s out of warranty. So disappointed! GE STAND BY YOUR PRODUCTS…

This ice machine is amazing! It makes crunched ice like the kind you get at AMPM! it has a big tray for ice storage i can fill up probably about 5-7 cups full of ice. If youre thinking about this ice machine do yourself a favor and buy it!
