Ice continually melts and remakes itself. And you can't save the ice in another container because it immediately melts as soon as it hits the air.

No customer service, GE's warranty is a joke

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Please do not waste you money...this product works for about 4-5 months, and then no service help, the warranty is a joke, we submitted, photos, video and everything they requested and GE has ghosted us, and although we loved the ice working flawless for 4 months ( and we followed all the cleaning advice) it locks up and freezes up and will not make ice. Please find another this was way too much money or the results
