That is until I started having problems with it. Water was coming out of my motor a little over the year. I’m contacting customer service to see if I can get a replacement or they can fix it. It’s not fair it lasts a little time compared to other cheaper ones.

One of my favorite things, this ice maker produces soft crunch ice. Bought one for my office that the team can't get enough of and then one for the home where the wife and kids are all over it day and night. If there are any complaints, I wish i could get a bigger one and the wifi is silly. Otherwise a great product.

Ice is wet

If we want to transfer some of the ice to the freezer for future use, it freezes in a solid clump. It's like it is not quite cold enough. Disappointed in that.

Needless to say, I weaseled a new Apple Watch out of her for it. I am EXTREMELY pleased with this purchase. It makes ice JUST LIKE Sonic and Zaxby’s. Setting up and first cleaning took about 30 minutes. We had ice to test in about 10 minutes. It was entirely full when we woke up the next morning. Keeps ice for several hours and the ice that melts re-freezes and makes more ice. Would definitely recommend this to a friend if I could talk someone else into spending $600 to make ice.

I love that "cleaning" will flash on the display to remind me it's time to clean it. I highly recommend using distilled water to cut down on mineral buildup. Best gift I ever bought my husband, especially since the entire household benefits. My daughter bought one for her husband on our recommendation

It’s the perfect setup in my home office, where i can enjoy beverages on ice while i’m hard at work. The ice does not disappoint…its soft, delicious and quite self-sufficient.

If you like to chew on ice without ruining your teeth, get this. If you like a cold drink that doesn’t get too watered down, get this. But pay attention to the instructions as you have to totally drain it every 1-2 weeks. It’s heavy so it’s not the easiest procedure. Also, this will not fit under your cabinets. The listing says 16 inches tall but it’s 17 inches.
