I love love love my ice maker it makes ice really fast. Also it is easy to clean and the light makes the machine to me lol it’s not too loud either definitely a good investment

Let me begin by saying, "I LOVE THE ICE!" However, I do not love the sounds this device makes. Sometimes it works great, but other times it squeals and hisses so loud that I have to turn it off. This is so disappointing, because I love everything else about the machine, but I can't stand to have it running because of the noise sometimes.

I’ve gone through multiple ice machines just trying to find the one that makes the perfect ice and works quietly. This GE sonic ice maker is the one. It keeps up with our ice usage, which is quite a bit. I highly recommend

If your looking for that rare crunchy chewable ice look no further. This is for you. We have one for a family of 6 and this keeps up and is exactly what we needed. Great for bottles for aports. Work. Walks. Gym. You name it. Only thing is though … spend the little extra for the side reservoir as youll go through a lot of water and its a pain to refillif you dont have it

Awesome machine. Makes soft ice that is in high demand in our home. A little noisy when making ice but definitely recommend to anyone who loves soft ice.

Continuously and quickly makes perfect nugget ice chips every time. With the reservoir on the side it practically guarantees that you'll always have ice. Keeps up with my heavy demands for ice. Makensure you clean regularly and buy the correct cleaning agent for the nugget ice maker. It's a bit pricey but if you catch a sale, jump on it!

Issue on noise,will need purchase of water which was bought to hear less crackling noise. Other than that ice is Good!!

Great eating ice. Fit’s well under the upper cabinet. Spend the money and get the side tank. Works well with the phone app.

Ice maker makes great ice. And plenty of it. 1 gallon side tank is a big plus.

Loving the nugget ice so far. Easy to use. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when running, but not loud enough to really bother anyone. Would buy it again.

Pros: Makes ice fast and the ice pieces are a perfect size! Like Sonic ice. Aesthetically, the unit looks great. Cons: When it needs to add water, you have to remove the side tank, flip it, unscrew the cap, fill it, screw the cap back on, flip it back over and then (and here is where the problem arises) you have to lift the entire thing above the unit being careful that the little clear hose doesn't come out (which every time I do this, it comes out because it isn't tight enough and then water goes everywhere. This is the only way to get the air bubbles out of the system allowing it to fill and start making ice again. This is a really bad design. I have a Keurig pot next to my ice machine and it also has a side tank. You fill it from the top therefore never needing to lift it to allow it to start using the water. I don't know why the designers of this ice machine didn't think that having an opening at the top would be much better. I will be seeking a different ice maker that isn't so cumbersome.

I purchased a GE Profile-Opal Portable Ice Machine for my daughter as a Christmas gift. She has been wanting one of these for a long time. Since this Christmas was one of the best ever since I nearly lost her in "2019" due to health problems, I wanted to surprise her with this!! I waited until Christmas day after the kids opened their presents and surprised her with it!! She totally loves it and that makes her mama happy as well !! Awesome customer service, it was out of stock at the store so they had it shipped to me! No problems so far !! Thank you Bestbuy !!!!

It’s great when it works, but it’s a pain to keep running. I’d say you should expect it to last about 2 years. The machine often has problems restarting after it’s been cleaned. I recommended it with these caveats. Pro tip: use only distilled water to keep scale from building which might extend its life.

This has been an excellent purchase thus far. We use it two times a day for 6 out of 7 days for our household ice. Wife goes through ice like crazy. We make approximately 4 gallon size bags a day. It has saved so much time and effort thus far. Can only hope it holds up for our use. Able to preprogram and set on a timer. Great purchase. This is an expensive item, so far no regrets.

Love this little Nugget Ice machine. This is my 2nd one. We make 3-6 buckets every day & wore my last one out in less than 5 years. Luckily I had the extended warranty for 5 years & was totally refunded my original purchase price. So, we bought a new one at a lesser price than the 1st one & it's new and improved and we love it. Highly recommend it.

About 1lb per hour, with WIFI set it and forget it and have ice whenever you need it. Melting ice recycles into the water tank to make new ice.
