Great ice maker I wish I still kept it but unfortunately I returned it. Very heavy but liked the small ice function

I love this. I accidentally ordered the version 1.0 prior from a different site, where they didn't carry this current version. This one is quieter than the earlier. The cleaning mode is visible on the front instead of a switch on the back, which I also found nice. The recommended weekly cleaning is tedious, but overall worth it. I love this thing!

This is a fantastic addition to our kitchen. It is funny but it even makes our drinks taste better. I love that the ice is hard yet soft enough that it doesn't hurt your teeth to chew.

This was a gift to my soft sonic style ice worshiping wife. Over all we enjoy this unit. It's quieter than I expected even though I wish it was just a little bit quieter. Also I wish that the refill tank was top fill, but other than those things we love this ice maker.

So worth the money! I have a friend who bought the same machine almost 4 years ago and it's still going strong. That is why I went with this machine. It's sleek looking and makes the best kind of ice Nuggets!

Great solution for ice, our fridge ice maker (Samsung) stopped working and we needed a solution. This machine is quiet, efficient, and the ice is great.

This is the best ice maker. It was a little pricey, but well worth it. I had purchased one on amazon at 1/4 the price and the motor burned out after 2 months. The GE is very quiet. I would recommend the icemaker!!

Love, love, love our ice maker! It makes the PERFECT ice nuggets. It makes the ice so fast and keeps it's cold in the storage bin. I definitely recommend buying one, yes they are a little pricey but worth it.

We bought this because our refrigerator ice machine went out and had been buying bags of ice. This is a game changer! We love this pellet ice and it works great. We haven’t had to buy anymore bags of ice since getting this and it is always replenishing the ice. You do have to fill the reservoir with water, but that is no big deal.

Love the ice this makes, but it is very loud. I put a sound meter on the counter beside it and it measured at 73 dB. It is loud to the point that it makes having a conversation in the kitchen difficult.

Makes horrible noises every single body that bought says and the customer service for replacement or warranty during the warranty is ridiculous they tell you to record it and send them a video and they will get back to you on fixing it then ask for receipt after you’ve already registered it during purchase.

For those thag remember the ole Hardee’s ice, now Sonic ice and Chick-Fil-A ice, this is it! Delishious, pure, scrumptious ice! I keep it running 24/7 (why not with the optional 4 year warranty). Get it, you won’t be disappointed (except for Karens).

My family loves this ice maker. This is my second machine. The first machine was clogged up from the hard water build up. I did clean the machine, but I guess not as often as I should have. Luckily, I had the Geek Squad protection on this device, as well as my other purchases from Best Buy. I walked in my local Best Buy, they looked up my account, and gave me a new one in the box. The newer model now will now flash "CLEANING" on the L.E.D. control panel when it is time to be cleaned. This happens every 100 hours of use while the machine is making ice.

Purchased this for my daughter & her family for Christmas. They absolutely love the nugget sized ice cubes that are made in this machine. Thus far, it is great! Would have given it 5 stars except for the ridiculous price.

We love this ice machine sooo much! It makes the “good ice” we used to go to sonic or chick fil a to get this ice. Literally, we would go just to get the ice, but not anymore! You just have to make sure that you follow directions and keep it clean.

Ice maker will make a horrid squealing sound throughout the making process. We have followed the protocol for cleaning, descaling and more and it continues to perform with issues. While the ice it makes is nice, and the unit looks nice, the level of maintenance and care required in addition to the fact it continues to have problems is causing regret for this purchase. And we are beginning to experience shared issues with customer service, which is frustrating. Hoping the manufacturer steps up and replaces or refunds us for the defective unit. There is no reasonable explanation for the issues we are having. By reading the reviews on GE's website, it is clear this is a known issue and I don't see any evidence they are willing to accept responsibility. Fingers crossed. But I do not recommend this unit. Buyers beware.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this. I decided the smartest thing to do was to get the GSP plan and regularly maintain it. This is a pricey appliance. As much as a full blown refrigerator. It's not your set it and forget type of thing. That being said, know the water in your area and plan your maintenance around that. Buy the proper products needed to keep it clean. We haven't had any issues with it not filling the ice bucket to capacity. We downloaded the app, put the machine on a schedule and updated it. All app featured tech will need updates. Make sure you do your due diligence and then you can decide if it's a problem with the machine itself. It's a solid device. I would recommend.

Makes ice pretty fast. Its nice that I can stock pile it in the freezer to use for ice chests later as well. The only downside I see to this is the ice is still wet when it comes out of the machine. We have to put it in the freezer to get it ice cold.

If you want that sonic/chick fil A ice this is a must. So addicted to this that since getting it we only use this and stopped using our regular cubes. A definite purchase that is worth it.. but make sure to get the BB extended plan in case this investment goes down. Highly enjoy the nugget ice!!
