Absolutely love our nugget ice maker. We have received so many complements when guest come over and they love the 'sonic ice'. Can't imagine life without it.

Best ice maker and best ice bit if you let it run out of water the pump might go out after several times trying to run water or it gets moldy often

Best purchase I have ever made from Best Buy! Machine is a favorite in my house so much so that I purchased one for my parents and my brother will be purchasing his own as well. Ice is the perfect size and an absolute must for anyone who loves ice! It is a little in the pricey side, but Worth every penny!

This machine works great but I could not for the life of me get the optional filter to work with my side tank. Other than that, great product. Wife approved!

I loved this ice maker however, shortly after purchasing it started making a loud grinding noise. I returned my first one and got another machine. Shortly after that one started making the same noise. Multiple calls to GE and they always told me I just needed to clean it. I always clean my machine and yet this noise persisted. I asked for GE to send me a new machine but they told me to “try” their recommendations first. I told them I was worried about the warranty expiring but they assured me that since I had placed calls BEFORE my warranty that I would be covered. My last call made to them the representative told me I needed to do a deep clean and “prime” my pump and thus would fix my problem. I was so excited as no one ever told me to prime my pump. I followed her instructions and now my ice maker does not make ice! I called GE this morning and told the representative I would like a new ice maker and she told me “Sorry, it’s out of warranty”. When I asked her to review my notes and the confirmation that my warranty would still be valid since I had placed multiple calls she told me that she has no notes on my account. So, now I’m stuck with a machine that doesn’t work and all my patience and trust that GE was going to stand behind this machine was all talk. They pacify you until it’s out of warranty. So disappointed! GE STAND BY YOUR PRODUCTS…

Setup was easy...After going through the cleaning process, filled the tank and had the first ice in 14 minutes. Ice is great. We also gained some space in our freezer since we dont use our ice maker any more. If you can afford this ice maker and like the nugget style ice then I recommend you go for it.

This is a must have item for people who love nugget ice but it does have some issues. Pros: -Looks nice -Has wifi/app to schedule ice making -Ice is soft and chewy -Has side tank Cons: -Can be loud when making ice -WiFi/App can be flaky and every couple of months it has to be reset and the schedule redone -Takes up a lot of counter space -Expensive One more thing to note, don't be dumb like I was and put the ice bin or side tank in the dishwasher because they can and will shrink and warp (don't ask me how I know :( ).

Best purchase we've made in a long time!! Most used appliance in our house! Good chewing ice, just not quite as good as Sonic. These nuggets are a little harder, but still love it! Makes every beverage so much more enjoyable!

Great ice! A little noisy but it’s worth it for the ice

Excellent product. Super fast and easy set up. Easy to maintain and clean. Definitely recommend this product. I've had this product about a month and have been very happy with the outcome. We are a family of 5 and used 16 ice trays a day having to refill them. With this machine we haven't even had to use the ice treats.

Works an advertised and has been nice addition to our bar/wine room. Makes pellets at a very good rate so we don’t run out.

This is a true nugget ice maker. Its Chick-fil-A ice. Love this machine. Would recommend this to all my friends.

Awesome ice maker! The pellet ice is clean and produces very fast. One note is to clean the system once a month by using a descaler so that the pumps don't clog up or use ultra-filtered water.

Good while it works. The machine developed an unberable grinding and whining noise. I purchased a protection plan for it, but Best buy is refusing to service it even with 2 year protection plan because the protection plan is only good for 1 year... apparently.

Excellent ice maker, makes Sonic ice quickly. We use ours at home and carry it with us when we camp in our motor home and it pays for itself in savings by not having to buy ice. But it’s the quality and crunch of the ice my wife loves. Best birthday gift ever. Be sure to get Geek Squad protection.

Love the sonic ice but the thing I don't like is the cleaning process. Too time consuming
