My husband and I love the new ice machine. Our ice on the refrigerator went out and this helps us not having to get the ice machine fixed right now.

Awesome machine. If you like good ice to chew on it makes perfect ice for that. We use bottled water in it and have had no issues with it.

The nugget ice is great! It does produce a good bit, but not enough to fill two 32oz cups at once. I would still purchase again! ❤️

Most reviews skip over the electricity consumption. This device takes the same amount of power as a full size family fridge! I expected this to take less power than a mini fridge, but I was wrong. The power meter shows average 170w while it's making ice. (mini fridge is 60w)The meter shows between 23 - 27 cents a day it costs to run. For comparison my full size 26cuft fridge costs 24 -38 cents/day and it also makes ice. So this appliance is not energy efficient. If you noticed there is an option schedule to turn it off, that's because you have to turn it off to get any sleep. This is the loudest appliance we own, louder than the washing machine and dryer, but less than a vacuum cleaner. There are a few components that make noise, water pump (minor buzz hum ~ 38db), compressor (~50db, louder than any household fridge, enough for everyone to comment on it's noise level, but not obnoxious), Ice Salver (~62db the part that rotates and makes the ice, loud rattle hum). I have cleaned it with both bleach and their acid cleaner for lime build up, and only use double filtered city water. For comparison My fridge is ~38db, dishwasher ~36, microwave ~45, washer ~48. Vacuum ~97db

Excellent product, love this so much. My mom was constantly going out to get ice from sonic, and with all that was going on I didn’t want her to up her risk. Now she gets her ice nuggets at home and we know she isn’t putting herself at risk as much.

Love this machine!! Had it for a few weeks now and it works great. Makes ice fast. In fact I can store the extra in the freezer for extra. With the auto fill the bin is always full. Highly recommend. Oh yeah, the soft nugget ice is the real deal.

The product is awesome and lasted about 2.5 years. It stopped making ice at 2.5 years. I bought the insurance (4 Years) and BB was nice enough to provide me a new one on the spot. The new unit however did not fill up the tank on its own after I followed the set up instructions. I had to take this heavy unit down back to BB. They then tell me that don't have any in stock and I need to wait 2 weeks. 2 weeks without an ice machine.

It’s a great ice machine. Only issue I have is that it makes ALOT of noise. It’s seems like the noise has gotten louder too. I’m not sure why.

I love my GEProfile Opal 2.0 24lb ice maker, it makes the best ice nuggets. I love to chew on ice, and this is the best ice to crunch on. I am addicted. The only issue is that it does use a lot of electricity, but I still highly recommend it.

This thing was quite expensive. But I have to say it makes some of the best ice around. With the added features of the app and wifi control, I have it set in a time schedule and we always have ice when we need it.

This unit replaces my old one. I had to original model before it was a GE product. That one finally quit after 4 years. I upgraded to this newest model and I will say it makes ice even faster than the old one and can hold a full gallon of water at a time.

Let me say, the ice is AMAZING! The first ice maker delivered, froze up completely and needed to be replaced. The second one’s auto defrost works but not until after it sounds like the gears inside are completely going to break. We don’t have this next to a wall. It gets plenty of breathing room. Having said that, i try to really deep clean it every two weeks and WE DO LOVE THE ICE!!! I have drank more water after buying this thing than i have my entire life. Love it.

This ice machine is incredible, their nothing like small pieces of crushed ice. Ice made in 20 minutes or less My wife loves it.

This is the Perfect ice maker. Better than crushed ice! Who knew ICE could make such a big difference..and this one truly does.

I love the ice this machine makes. But it is alot of trouble to clean.

I still don't understand paying almost $500 for some ice but my family seems to love it so I'm happy.
