Magnetron failed on my previous model after 7 years and it was cheaper to just replace the whole unit. Fingers crossed this one lasts longer , but I have had back luck with all my GE products

Would be nice if it came with a template for under cabinet mounting and specific directions explaining how to get the initial code off to make the microwave functional.

Good Microwave but not the Best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does this microwave heat food? Yes. Does it heat food effectively? Yes. Do the sensors work properly? Not so much. Obviously this only hurts convenience, but after about a month of use, the automatic heating sensor seemed to get really aggressive with the food temperature. If I use it, the food and plate come out of the microwave unbearably hot. Using it as a standard microwave though is no problem. I use it as a built in under the counter microwave though and it is a great cost effective way to get that look.
