Great but one hitch

The ice door freezes shut and is VERY difficult to open. I had a service man come out and he said this is a problem with this fridge and that I should be sure to register it so that when they come up with a solution I will be notified.

Slate GE Refrigerator

It was time to buy new appliances at our new house- so we opted to buy these slate appliances again. Love the color and works great!

GE new this model had a problem with it's compressor and had issue a service bulletin. They took 6 weeks to schedule a repair. I would not buy another GE product.

For fewer repairs and maintenance they recommended going with the GE Brand. It's the best advice I ever got.

Wonderful refrigerator

Easy access and great zisibilty . I am able to get more food in the regridgerator part as well as the freezer. The water sensing for filling water works well too.

So much room in refrigerator, lots of shelves and drawers. Love the hands free water dispenser. Freezer great too - very deep and holds a lot.

GE Black Slate Refrigerator
