Q: Does this model have a dual ice maker in the counter depth?

A: Hello Ddee - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. Yes, this refrigerator is wonderful because it offers an optional second icemaker in the bottom freezer. The main icemaker is located in the door of the refrigerator. I hope this helps! We're glad you checked with us!

Q: Can someone measure just the door from the side without the handles? It looks to be about 2 1/2” from the pictures. Thank you.

A: you are correct. The depth of the door when measured from the side is 2.5" however there is an arch outward at the handles and is 4" deep.

Q: How much ice does the in-door ice maker hold? And how fast does it replenish ice.?

A: Hey there, we know how important ice can be and we're happy to help. The ice bin holds 3.8 lbs. In addition, the ice maker will produce seven cubes per cycle and approximately 100–130 cubes in a 24-hour period. We hope that's the exact information you needed. - Guy@GEA

Q: Is this a brand new refrigerator model? Wondering why there are no ratings anywhere on the web.

A: Hi Barb- This is Sue at GE Appliances. We are excited to hear of your interest in our Profile Series! Yes, PYE22KSKSS is a new introduction. The HANDS-FREE AUTOFILL feature lets you walk away while the dispenser automatically fills any container with filtered water. You can also view reviews on our GEAppliances website at the following link: http://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-specs/PYE22KSKSS- Thanks for checking with us!

Q: I have tried several different stainless steel cleaners on my fridge. Every one leaves it cloudy and Dirty looking. Help! What is the best product for this? I have had at least 2 other stainless steel refrigerators and never had this problem. Thanks

A: Hello - We are sorry to hear you have difficulty cleaning your refrigerator. This model has a Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel finish. Our Fingerprint Resistant Stainless offers a clear coat that allows the shine of the stainless to show through. This finish is designed with durability in mind, and makes cleaning easy. Unlike Traditional Stainless, Fingerprint Resistant Stainless does not require the use of special stainless cleaners. To clean: Use a mild solution of soap and warm water with a clean, soft cloth or microfiber cloth. Wipe dry with a soft clean cloth or microfiber towel to avoid streaking or water spotting. We hope this helps. Thanks for checking. Olga@GEA

Q: Is the ice tray easily removable? Does the ice stay in place when you open the freezer drawer? (the ice falls out of the freezer when we open the drawer of our current Samsung counter depth model).

A: Yes to both questions. There is a small lever that you pull, then lift up the tray. I have never had the ice fall out. Not sure I'm really answering your question though. The ice tray is in the refrigerator portion (top left door), so you don't don't open the freezer door to get to the ice tray. Maybe that was just on your Samsung.

Q: We finally brought our new refrigerator home this afternoon and got it all set up. I got ahead of myself and played with the front panel. Now the freezer and refrigerator temps are out of whack and I can't get it to do anything but increase the temp. ??

A: I had the same problem. Just keep pressing the temp button and it will keep going up and then go back to the lowest setting. The control panel on "Profile" leaves much to be desired. My 9 year old GE Profile had a much better control panel. Hope this helps.
