Water spot too close to front of refrigerator making fill up difficult. All-in-all, I think the design is poor. Poor shelving on doors.

Spacious freezer, good storage compartments. Top has good temperature control and several section for different temp options. Sliding shelf helps with tall bottles. Deep door lets you fit quite a bit in them. Easy to use front panel.

Original order date was 5/23/21, delivered with defective door on 7/8/21. Replacement order was 7/8/21. Estimated replacement fridge delivery 8/19/21. Not worth the wait.

Poor Quality

First had scratches all over it when they opened it, second one is missing freezer shelf, the hinges on the left door keep popping out. Waiting for the 3rd replacement. GE must have the poorest quality control and standards to let products like this make it to the costumer.

Problem with ice maker

The ice maker leaves a flaky substance in my water. I know it is now my water because If i only get water, the water is crystal clear. It is only when I get ice and then water that it leaves white flakes in my water. I am still giving this fridge a chance to cycle through the ice make to see if the problem goes away.

We are sorry to hear that the icemaker leaves a white flaky substance. If you have hard water, then the particles would be calcium carbonate. The colder water becomes, the less capable it is of suspending minerals. As water turns to ice, these particles begin to show up. Only lasted 10 months

The motor gradually got louder each week until it sounded like a leaf blower -then the motor quit after 10 months. Other flaws: Freezer handle fell off twice and had to be reattached and the left door needs a firm push to close tight or the sensor will beep. The ice dispenser gets jammed often and the ice needs to be broken apart with a knife. Very disappointed with this model.
