We would've loved to review this washer, but unfortunately Best Buy made that impossible. Their install tech was hands down the most insulting, rude, potentially incriminating person I've ever encountered (especially within my own home). Immediately greeted me with attitude and disrespect at the door. Had an issue with bringing it up 1 flight of steps (we have upstairs laundry - was told that's OK at the store). Had an issue with removing old washer/dryer down the steps (that we paid for). Then tells me it won't fit (impossible, it's as wide as our current washer and it's replacing both our WASHER AND DRYER). Then refuses to do anything due to "corrosion" on our hookups and tells me they will not install it unless I get all my hookups replaced (there was minor surface corrosion present on the valves not in any way affecting the function). The best part? When I'm basically pleading with the guy to help me in any way he can (we've been without laundry for 2 weeks) – he walks away from me mid conversation, through our house, and drives away. Then when I tried to call and cancel, he marked it delivered into our garage (presumably out of spite). So now I have a $2k washer that's potentially missing (or stolen), a huge mess on our hands, and STILL NO LAUNDRY FOR MY FAMILY. Not even remotely the type of service I'd expect when paying $2400 out the door for the appliance, delivery, installation, and haul away. If you need installation for any appliances, RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN FAR AWAY from Best Buy.

Washes clothes thoroughly and fully dries everything, from shirts to towels. While the machine says there are shorter cycles, every load I have done, regardless of size or contents, has take three hours. Takes longer than a traditional washer and dryer, but still better than a laundromat. I’ll gladly sit through three hours to have clean clothes from home.

So far I absolutely love it! Set it and forget it. I always forget to put my washed clothes in the dryer and this completely eliminates the problem!!! I will be honest, I hate GE products,..... but I do love this machine. It's making such a big difference in my life. It's sooooo heavy tho! We had to use a tractor to get it in the house. We installed ourselves.

We have only had the machine for a few weeks but so far we have been really impressed. It is really quiet, the app is great and we love the automatic dispense features. It is much faster than our previous ventless machine and it dries clothes really well. Maintenance has been straight forward so far and there are lots of video tutorials.

Really convenient- just really wish it dried a little better. It has so many options which is amazing but I haven’t found a way to make things dry in less than 90 minutes.

I don’t like the smell of the clothes once washed and dried. It takes longer to do multiple loads of laundry. Overall not pleased

Like most others I was very skeptical of an all in one, but GE has nailed it. No more waiting at home until the wash is done to put it in the dryer, no more fixing the machine because too much soap was used. You do need to clean out the filter after each cycle but that takes a few seconds. Super impressed and would give it more stars if I could.

Was not a G E fan but this washer dryer combo may very well change my mind have use it several times. Love the idea that it’s goes from through dry in one easy step. Haven’t figured out wi fi yet but so far would recommend this machine

We’ve had this for 2 months now and I freaking LOVE it!! The clothes, bedding, comforter all come out dry. I love the ease of use with the detergent and softener. It has made life easier. I never have to worry about switching loads, which has been awesome! I’ll update if I run into issues down the line but for now, LOOOOOVE our new washer/dryer.

I recently purchased the GE Ultrafast Combo appliance, enticed by its promise of efficiency and advanced features. However, my experience with this appliance has been far from satisfactory, marred by significant design flaws and frustrating malfunctions. First and foremost, the lint filter design of this appliance is utterly inadequate. Despite its purported ability to prevent lint and hair from accumulating on the condenser coil, it fails miserably in its task. I have found myself constantly battling with lint buildup, which not only compromises the efficiency of the appliance but also poses a potential fire hazard. It's baffling how such a fundamental aspect of the design could be so poorly executed. Additionally, my disappointment with the GE Ultrafast Combo escalated when the heat pump stoped functioning following a software update. While software updates are intended to enhance performance and address any existing issues, in this case, it had the opposite effect. The heat pump ceased to function altogether, leaving me without a crucial component of the appliance. The lack of durability and reliability exhibited by this appliance is simply unacceptable, especially considering its premium price tag. As a consumer, I expect appliances to withstand regular usage and perform as advertised. Unfortunately, the GE Ultrafast Combo falls short on both fronts. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the GE Ultrafast Combo to anyone in good conscience. Its flawed design and propensity for malfunctions make it a poor investment. Until these issues are addressed and rectified by the manufacturer, potential buyers would be wise to steer clear of this appliance and explore alternative options.

I hate this washer-dryer Combo. It takes twice as long to do laundry because you can't have clothes going in the washer while a load is in the dryer. The sensor dry doesnt get the clothes dry. I have to do timed dry on 1.5 hours. The gasket around the door collects lint and hair, and it is too hard to clean it off. It also has little openings in the gasket that are impossible to clean. Lint collects in the opening in front of the lint trap. The opening is too small to fit a vacuum in. It's so heavy, I cant move it 2 foot over. I thought I would warm up to it, but I haven't. I wish I had just gotten a regular washer and dryer. Returning it would have been a nightmare because it's so heavy.

Works great, just need to add a little more time for drying than the usual.

I never thought I could be in love with an appliance, but I certainly am with this one. I highly recommend it! The one thing I would tell people that are considering it, is to make sure to get it installed because IT IS HEAVY! Took 3 men to get it on the pedestal and put in place. If we sell our house….it’s staying!

Our laundry room is really small so we now have more room with only a single machine. We really like this machine. It does dry differently than a regular dryer leaving some items a bit damp or damp feeling. Other than that, it cleans well and with the Wi-Fi connected will tell you when it is done.

I really wanted to like this product and read all kinds of reviews before purchasing. Turns out it took a while for the poor reviews to start because these start to fail in about a year (right after warranty”. There were many things I disliked about the machine but I dealt with it because it still technically got the job done. 1. The machine is very noisy. It will randomly sound like a gun shot in your house for no reason. It vibrates your entire house frequently. I try to run laundry at night but it wakes the kids. 2. It doesn’t dry clothes all the way. 3. Lint buildup due to a design flaw (type this into google). 4. Constant drain codes that appear with nothing needing to be resolved. They leak excessively and door seal is easily damaged. One night it was vibrating the house so bad it sounded like an earthquake and that was the last time we used it. A couple weeks out of warranty. Called a repair person out and they said it’s a very common problem that will cost $900 to repair and a 5 week lead time on the part because everyone needs this part. Almost 2k spent for this and it lasted about a year. It is now garbage in my garage and replaced with new washer and dryers. GE was absolutely no help outside the 1 year. Hope I saved someone from dumping their hard earned 2k down the drain.

This is such a space saver. Easy to install with no venting. Plugs ibto a standard outlet. The dispenser feature nakes it much easier. A typucal liad takes about 2 hours from start to finish. Norifications on my ohobe when the load is finished. Very quiet when running.

Love the machine and how well it performs both the washing and drying functions. It’s a game changer for me. I would wash clothes and it would take hours before I would throw it to dry. Running around with two small kids doesn’t leave much time. I know once I throw stuff in it will be washed and dried. Love it!

I love nearly everything about this washer/dryer combo .. I don't like how it shakes so badly that I feel it all the way in my family room (we have a crawlspace). It seems to be balanced enough that I don't know why it shakes so badly at times .. but i do enjoy not having to move clothes from the washer to the dryer and then just get notified on my phone so l when it's all done!

I absolutely love the space that it saves and all of the features! No more having to remember to change clothes over to a dryer. Convenience at it’s best!
