Posted .Hi - We're thrilled to hear how pleased you are with your Profile UltraFast Combo. The sound rating of the Combo in washing is comparable to any of our other frontload washers. It is important that unit be properly installed and leveled and the shipping bolts removed. In drying, the unit is quieter than standard dryers since the drum is insulated and there is no external venting. If you feel your Combo is louder than what we have described, we recommend having our service team check the unit. If needed, you may call 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment. Read the negative reviews to the positive reviews. I have to say I absolutely love this machine. If you take care of it and clean after every load you will see the amazing results.

GE's warranty is a joke. I've been fighting with them for a month and a half over this appliance. It started giving a "critical compressor discharge Overtemp" error. GE does not stock the replacement parts, and could not even get me a replacement unit as they are "backordered" I'm now waiting on them to have a 3rd party company come pick up the broken combo and issue me a check for less than I paid for the appliance. I will never be buying anything from GE ever again after this experience.

Posted .There will be some bypass (lint), just like on a regular dryer. However, be assured that it will not impact the great drying performance of our Combo! Ensure to clean the lint filter every five cycles as the display alerts (not after every cycle), clean the foam filter every 50 cycles as the display alerts, and clean the heat exchanger fins as needed with a brush set, or use our brush set #PM14X10056.

A bit pricey but a major game changer in that segment. Use it everyday now for a few months and couldn't be happier.

Being able to wash and dry clothes in one shot sounds great if it actually works. The reality is that this machine will not dry your clothes. Dryer lint will clog up the vent system due to bad design. You will be hanging your clothes out to dry. Don’t wast your time and money.

I purchased 2 of these based on the marketing. I was skeptical as the combo units don't have the best reputation. The marketing addressed these concerns and that GE had this figured out. They definitely have not. Not only have we had constant issues with these units GE has provided no solutions and in the end these units are useless. They do not dry. We have 2 of them and put the smallest loads ever in so that we do not overload in hoped of drying faster. Very disappointed not only with the units but also very dispapointed in the lack of service and aftercare.

Great to do both wash/Dty at the same time

Love the big liquid detergent and softener that last a couple of washes and dryer. Only con is that have to remember to use dryer sheet and quick wash takes a bit longer that other washers. But it does the job and dries great

Washes and dries in just a little over 2 hours for a normal load and everything is clean and dry! I didn’t use fabric softener nor static sheets and clothes came out static free and soft. The heat pump/condenser technology doesn’t fry your laundry !

Needed my tux a had no time to drop off at the cleaners, for a little spiff up. Used the wrinkle case mode. Tux looks brand new. I is about time somone made this unit for the US.
