    The functionality is great but unfortunately, I had to return it while con for me is that when the dryer feature comes on there was a gas smell seeping from the dyer. When in use the dryer released a smell that was really bad I don't know if that was a mechanical malfunction but I didn't feel comfortable with keeping it. in the future, I will shop around for another one but for now, I'll stick with my GE washing machine.

    Don't Buy from Best Buy

    At some point Best Buy decided to take away the rewards earned for shopping there and forced you to get a best buy credit card to earn points. I did not know that when purchasing this very expensive washer/dryer combo. I wish I had because I would have just ordered from someone else and saved more money. I thought I was getting points back... I was wrong.

    First load that we tried to run and the unit leaked from the front door as well as the bottom. Very disappointed as we never had a chance to test the washing and drying cycle.

    Annoying Buzzing When Drying

    The unit is making a loud buzzing sound while drying. We stop the drying process then restart it, buzzing sound goes away for a moment but comes back. Will return it. Don't recommend this GE washer/dryer combo. Maybe we'll try the Samsung washer/dryer combo.

    Takes too long to dry any size load. After 2-3 hours drying clothes still wet!

    Best Buys policies are a failure

    this review is for best buy. I purchased 2 of these only to have the price drop by $400ea the next day, and ($600 each at cost co) best buy will only price match 1 unit, not both to their price reduction due to a price match policy of 1 per item.I asked them to price match their price they refused asking me to return and rebuy the items

    Broke within warranty period. Called ge. No one would service in the area no further help from ge. $1000 estimate for repair. Terrible customer service

    This washer dryer combo is great. However the false advertising saying that it is compatible with Google Home when in fact several people have expressed the same issue that it does not work or connect to Google Home is very frustrating. I would have gotten another unit that is compatible had I known this.

    We’ve had several issues with the drying vent. We’ve had to have a technician from the manufacturer come out and replace heating element. I recommend staying far away from this product.

    Great machine for 1 or 2 people. I have a family and this machine is not holing up, we have had maintenance on it a few times in less than a year

    Had hopes of a great wash/dryer combo but this one will let you down. Does not dry well! Cloths are more than feeling damp, they are wet. Wife hated it.

      We certainly don't want you to continue having wet clothes from your Combo. While it is normal for clothes to have a slight damp feeling, they should not be excessively wet. We do recommend that you ensure the pump filter is clean, the load is balanced, that you're not overloading it, and that none of the hoses are kinked. If this does not resolve the matter, please take advantage of your warranty by calling 833-426-3393. Our great technicians are always happy to help! GE_Appliances

    When in the washing cycle this thing shakes so much that the rooms next to it rattle. It’s 300 pounds and it actually has moved from the original placement.

    This product is the worst product on the market all of the sensors went bad within 5 months of purchase. Tech said sensors are on back order so basically dryer part doesn’t work. GE will not replace entire unit.

    I had the machine for two weeks. I do one laod a day. The display stopped working/broke and I’ve been using the laundromat for a week while I wait for new parts for a new machine.

    Huge Time Saver Compared to Traditional Ventless D

    I have been using this washer and dryer combo for about one month now. Before this, I had separate machines, and I have owned ventless dryers before, so I know they usually take a very long time to dry. With my previous ventless dryer, drying alone could take up to 4 hours. With this GE Profile UltraFast combo, the total wash and dry time is about 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the load, which saves me a lot of time. What I like the most is the convenience. I start the cycle and forget about it until it’s done, and the clothes come out clean and dry. I honestly did not think I would like a washer-dryer combo this much, but it has been very practical. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it makes a loud knocking noise at the beginning of the cycle. It only happens when it starts working, but it is noticeable. Overall, I am very happy with this machine and would recommend it, especially if you want to save time and space.

    I tried two of these machines and both were lemons. Shaking was severe and one was extremely loud. I loved the concept of one machine but unacceptable performances.

    Very good but not great

    Pros: There is no static when taking the clothes out of the dryer. No more worries about having to leave the house with a load in the machine. The delayed start option is also very helpful. The filter is very easy to clean – however, I recommend cleaning it after EVERY load as it does fill up quikly and there are lint “bunnies” all around the outside of the filter. (Gotta protect that heat pump). I also use a small, soft brush to clean the interior of the machine where the filter sits to remove bits of lint in there. Also occasionally use an extended crevace tool to vacuum in there. It’s very quiet and my laundry closet now has so much more space. Cons: The alarm sound letting you know that the machine cycle is completed is quick and not very loud. I would prefer if it was a bit longer so that it would be easier to hear. Hopefuly this can be adjusted with a software update. This is my first front loading machine, so I don’t know if my “problems” are the same for all front loaders, or just this machine. The wells on the top drawer that hold the bleach and fabric softener, always have SOME water in them after every load. I have a cloth to absorb it all as well as I can since I don’t want mold to grow in there overtime. There are times, however, when the bleach well is completely full of water. This is harder to empty out when you have the ‘Smart Dispense’ laundry detergent compartment filled with detergent. I remove the tray and bring it to the sink to tip towards the back and drain as much water as I can (this will also leak some of the detergent). The residual water can be absorbed with a cloth. Every time the door is opened it seems like there is always water dripping from the left side. This seems to be coming from the water left in the bleach/fabric softener wells. If you empty them out, the dripping stops. The blue silicone around the opening needs to be cleaned after each load – lint and hair seems to collect there. I have also noticed some lint buildup around the door opening – the narrow section between the edge of the blue silicon and the metal drum. I found a damp Q-Tip to fit in comfortably and will remove the lint. This is a tedious task, so I will probably only do it monthly. The machine was leveled by the installers, but at one point of the wash cycle, there is a lot of vibrations. Enough that items stored on my shelves above the machine fall off. My machine is also up on my second floor above the kitchen. The vibrations also had my glasses moving around in the cupboards. I had one glass fall out on me when opening the cupboard door, so I had to install a brace in my cupboards to prevent this from happeining again. There’s a lot of maintenance after a load of laundry is done, but I do like having the ability to leave it for 2-3 hours and come back to a completed load. Overall, I am happy with the machine and am hopeful that software updates will eventually fix the issues.
