Very happy with the purchase through Best Buy.

After that the poorly designed filter housing begins to start causing quite a lot of headache. There are two filters: Primary, cleaned every wash. Secondary, cleaned every approximately 10 washes. If you stay on top of this, it's supposed to prevent the condenser coils from fowling with lint. Unfortunately, the housing that both filters sit in is poorly fit to the machine and tons of lint is allowed to bypass both filters and clog the condenser coils. I would say this machine hasn't seen 30 full loads and it is already taking SEVEN hours to complete a full cycle. There are DIY solutions to this issue, but that shouldn't be necessary for a >$2000 appliance. If GE comes out with a different solution for this filter issue, I'd give it five stars in a heartbeat. But as it stands, this thing is going to be a service nightmare.

Instead I received a lemon! The washer/dryer unit had a “critical fault” code showing from the very beginning. The staff at my local Best Buy were great help and processed the return without any pushback. GE was going to send someone to look at but the fact it was “broken” out of the box, there was no need desire to keep the item. Decided to go with another washer and dryer set instead of this one because the poor experience of this unit.

It washes and drys clothes in two hours and everything comes out warm and toasty and smelling amazing.I highly recommend it. The GE app is amazing and easy to use.

Posted .Hello. Our Combo was designed to provide optimal drying, using a heat pump system and high-speed; we certainly wouldn’t expect this type of drying concern, and we want to help. Your items may feel a little damp when you first open the door, because of the sealed drum. If you simply remove the items and give them a quick shake, most of the time they’ll feel dry in seconds. For a drying issue, we would recommend making sure your unit is connected to our SmartHQ app and the latest software has been downloaded. Software updates help to keep your unit operating at its best, and may help to resolve your drying concerns. Also, selecting the ‘More Dry’ option or checking the lint filter may help. It starts out strong but and ends up being a piece of junk. We've had four service calls on it in the last year for the same thing, The top is poorly designed the vent allows for lint to get stuck all up in the machine and burn everything up. i've gone through two control panels a pump and we have lost laundry time.
