Regarding your unit leaking, check to see if the gasket is seated and not torn. Objects (nails, screws, pens, pencils) left in pockets and clothes trapped between the door glass and the gasket can cause damage to the Combo. Additionally, please keep in mind that water can drip from the door when the door is opened. Instead I received a lemon! The washer/dryer unit had a “critical fault” code showing from the very beginning. The staff at my local Best Buy were great help and processed the return without any pushback. GE was going to send someone to look at but the fact it was “broken” out of the box, there was no need desire to keep the item. Decided to go with another washer and dryer set instead of this one because the poor experience of this unit.

Very happy with the purchase through Best Buy.

Posted .Hello. Our Combo was designed to provide optimal drying, using a heat pump system and high-speed; we certainly wouldn’t expect this type of drying concern, and we want to help. Your items may feel a little damp when you first open the door, because of the sealed drum. If you simply remove the items and give them a quick shake, most of the time they’ll feel dry in seconds. For a drying issue, we would recommend making sure your unit is connected to our SmartHQ app and the latest software has been downloaded. Software updates help to keep your unit operating at its best, and may help to resolve your drying concerns. Also, selecting the ‘More Dry’ option or checking the lint filter may help.
