The Combo Wsher/Dryer has exceeded expectations for our use case - empty nesters. Time, water and energy savings are great. The low temperature drying seems to leave clothing softer. Dryness is fine after cycle is complete - if not, then the unit is likely in need of service.
We somehow lost our BB card. Getting help from BB finaance has been abysmal. Eleven days after reporting missing card, we are still waiting for replacement card so a payment can be made and fighting late fees. Not a good experience with financing so far.

I am mostly really happy with the machine, but the rare problems are a big hassle! I love that I can put my clothes in, push a couple buttons, walk away, and come back to clean dry clothes. So easy, so great to know the clothes will finish while I'm at work or asleep or running errands. BUT the lint filter system is poorly designed and difficult to maintain. I clean the lint filter almost every single load like I would do with a normal dryer, but that's not enough. I've also fought to try to keep the large clumps of lint behind/around the filter under control, with mixed success. Now, just over a year after we got the machine, it's no longer a set it and forget it situation - every load is still quite damp when the cycle finishes and we have to run another hour+ dry only cycle. Yesterday it took about 11 hours to get 2 loads finished and today it took over 4 for one normal size load. I'm hoping to get good warranty support, but apparently I have to pay for a service call first???
Despite my frustration, if the lint situation/drying problem is resolved, I will return to being a happy owner. Ventless is great, the smaller power requirement is great, and when it works the all in one functionality is really nice. I wouldn't recommend buying one until GE fixes the lint situation. Someone has made an after market fix, but I haven't tried it because I don't want to void the warranty.

The horrors of switching laundry over are no more!

Let me paint a picture of every day horrors and nightmares:
- clothes left in the washing machine for two days that now reek
- realizing right before bed that you need to wash your jeans before you leave in the morning
- setting timers to switch your laundry over
These are things I no longer even think about thanks to this machine. In fact, I can’t believe I ever had to “switch laundry over” and I will never be going back.
This machine is expensive, but it’s incredibly worth it. It’s fantastic quality and lives up to the promises it makes. As a test load, I threw in all of my towels and was shocked, stunned, and amazed to find that they were washed and dried in under 45 minutes. On top of that, you can pour in an entire bottle of detergent and softener and have the machine portion it out for you. Laundry has never been so easy. And as an added bonus, we just got so much extra storage space after switching from two machines to 1.

Where do I even begin?! I seriously wish I had purchased the GE Profile 2 in 1 washer and dryer combo sooner! It has been a complete lifesaver for my household of 6, helping us stay on top of our laundry game like never before.
No more worrying about rewashing clothes because we forgot and they got all sour and funky . With this magical machine, everything comes out smelling fresh and clean, every single time! I'm blown away by the results!
And let me tell you, the dryer function is a game-changer! Not only are our clothes coming out dry in a flash, but it saves us from the hassle of moving someone else's laundry from the washer to the dryer. Win-win!
Speaking of saving, let's talk about how this 2 in 1 wonder is a space-saving savior! With limited space in our home, the compact design of the GE Profile 2 in 1 has been a dream come true. It fits perfectly into our laundry room, leaving more space for other essentials.
And did I mention how clean and fresh our clothes are after each wash? They come out looking like new and smelling AMAZING! This washer/dryer combo knows how to handle even the toughest stains, while leaving a lingering scent of freshness.
Okay, okay, I have to mention one tiny drawback. Occasionally, our clothes do come out a bit wrinkled. But honestly, that's such a minor con compared to all the other incredible benefits we've experienced. A quick run through the wrinkle release function and problem solved!
In conclusion, if you've been contemplating getting the GE Profile 2 in 1, don't hesitate anymore! It's a game-changer for any busy household, helping you save time, maintain freshness and cleanliness, and declutter your laundry space. Trust me, you won't regret it! #LaundryRevolution

I love this combo washer and dryer. Is was easy to install no vent needed for the dryer or special electrical hook needed. It makes doing laundry much easier no remebering to transfer the laundry from washer to dryer. It has a detergent and fabric softener container and automatically dispenses these when doing a load of laundry. It also has custom settings for different types of laundry (towels, jeans, bedding and etc). I easily washes and drys my large king size quilts. Connecting to WFII and the AI are fun features which allows the Combo to notify me when my laundry is done.

We have had this unit for just over a year now and mostly it is not bad but the whole lint system is horrible and difficult to clean out, we just had the motor fail after only a year and another issue with almost every load we have a sock(s) or wash cloth get stuck in the door seal at the bottom. Also there are sometimes when it doesn't dry well but other than these issues and the fact the door is not reversible it has been an ok machine though I would have a hard time recommending it. We will see how things go after the motor gets replaced in a few weeks. on the plus side until the motor went it was very quiet and most loads washed and dried in a few hours. overall it works and we are going to keep it with an extended warranty now added on but if it has more issues we may go back to a higher end separate washer and dryer setup.

Great product and super compact compared to separate machines. You will need a special vacuum attachment and long brushes to clean the lint trap when it gets dirty or you will lose performance or need a service call. You can get them off amazon relatively cheap. I recommend washing the lint filter under running water, vacuuming the lint chamber, cleaning the door seal of lint and emptying the bottom filter once a month (especially if you have pets or do a lot of laundry as this is recommended every 40 loads). This is easy to do and should only take you 15-20 mins once a month.

I have this washer and dyer for about three weeks now. I am so impressed with how well it washes and will dry my cloths. Sometimes the cloths are still damp it does depend on the size of load. I have a King bed and washed my comforter a couple of times. Its always clean and dry. I am very happy with this unit, I am in a basement and it had hook ups for a washer not a dryer, this all in one takes care of that.

This combo washer/dryer unit was a bit pricey, but I bought it on sale and let me tell you - it is a game changer! It is ventless and so I installed in a first floor closet which has made doing laundry easy. Features you'll love - the lint filter is so easy to clean, the smart detergent dispenser is amazing (fill it once and it tells you when you need more). I also have a very furry dog and this unit does a terrific job and trapping the dog hair and my clothes come out without any hair. It is also quiet running and just does its thing. A phone app tells you when the laundry is done.

Took a bit to decide to go with this unit based on reviews but Overall i have 0 complaints from the wife. Only drawback is you have to stay on top of cleaning lint filter but that is part of not needing a vent so not an issue for us.. Even tho it takes longer to wash and dry clothes wife feels like she is doing laundry less often which is crazy but my assumption would be in order for you to do another load you are forced to fold and put away what's in the washer first before you start another one rather than forget it in dryer and now is double work.. It is heavy but for only being a 110v the performance is definitely there. Bad reviews I'd say would be from not keeping up with the lint tray and regular maintenance or just a faulty piece of equipment (it happens) but like my kid says 10 out of 10 would reccomend lol

We’re so glad to hear your Combo is working out well for your family—especially with that glowing "10 out of 10" endorsement from your kid! It's great that you’ve found the performance solid, and you’re absolutely right: regular maintenance like staying on top of the lint filter is key to keeping it running efficiently. It’s also a great point about how the all-in-one design naturally encourages staying on top of the laundry cycle—it’s a small shift that can make a big difference. Thanks again for sharing your experience and for giving the Combo a shot! -Kacie@GEAppliances

Likes: 1) We’ve reclaimed half of our tiny laundry room, making space for other household related storage. 2) no more miving laundry between two machines. 3) app reminders and notifications are helpful. Dislikes: It’s a heavy machine, and our laundry is upstairs. I definitely reccomend home delivery and setup if you dont have some strong friends to help out.

This washer/dryer combo is amazing!
Pros:
+ No need for a separate dryer unit, saving space
+ Uses a regular 110v outlet (did not have a 220v line in our laundry room as our previous dryer used propane)
+ Don't need to remember to move laundry between units
+ Energy efficient (~$0.07 per wash+dry cycle in electricity)
+ Detergent automatically dispensed, removing need to measure/fill it for every load
+ No exhaust vent
+ Larger capacity than our old units (from the 90s)
+ Nice looking design
+ Touch controls
+ Auto senses the load and gives an estimate when the cycle will be completed
+ Easily connected with the app and is convenient to see the progress from anywhere
Cons (pretty nitpicky, not really deal breakers):
- A little noisy while filling with water and drying, but can be solved by closing the room's door
- Sometimes it doesn't completely dry larger items, but just hanging it for a little while afterwards is no big deal
- Wish the app had more information for usage stats, it only shows how many cycles you've run in the past 30/90 days. Would be nice to see water usage, electricity usage, average cycle time, etc.
- If you cancel a cycle near the end, it does not add it to the app's cycle count
- It's heavy
All in all we love this machine, it has changed our laundry lives!

I had high hopes, sold my wife on this, but unfortunately it has not lived up to its promise.
1. It has never been balanced, it's is on a pedestal and we just can't get it to balance.
2. The tech is pretty amazing, smart machine and the auto-dispense of detergent and fabric softener is very handy.
3. Not meant for a large family, you would need multiple and that would be an expensive laundry room. The machine just doesn't dry effectively enough to score higher than a 3.
4. It would be perfect for a person living alone
5. Lint handle broke, weird design.
6. Even with the best plan you pay at least $105+- to get a technician out. Not terrible, but didn't expect that fee.

To clarify, our Profile Combo is approved for installation on our optional 7" riser. It is not approved for installation with the pedestal. If you have not done so already, we recommend connecting your Combo to your WiFi and our SmartHQ app. There may be performance updates available that could improve the drying performance. If you continue having issues, we encourage you to send us (GE Appliances) a private message on one of our social channels (Facebook, Instagram) with your contact information, model and serial numbers and a copy of your review so we can check into this further. -Vikki@GEAppliances

Owned for almost a month now. This combo has been fantastic so far. I have a family of 3 (two adults + toddler). It works out great for us. Space saving and minimal interaction required.
Pros:
- SPACE SAVER
- Minimal interaction needed
- Mobile app a bonus, but not required
- Decent capacity for a two-in-one (washer/dryer combo)
- Features are fantastic (auto fill detergent)
- Able to fit a full king size comforter
- Can purchase two and they can work side by side with simple water connection splitters.
- Start a heavy load at night, it's already dry and ready by morning.
Cons:
- Due to the drying technology, the cloths can still come out a little damp. Mostly, they're dry enough on first pass, but heavier/thicker items tend to take extra dry time (blankets, dog beds, etc.) This can be programmed into the dry cycle, so not a big issue.
- Wash/Dry cycles tend to take longer with this all-in-one unit vs standalone washer and dryer sets. Likely due to the drying technology.
- Not sure if this would be a good solution for a big family, or those with LOTS of laundry, as it does add a little more time to the whole process since you can wash and dry loads simultaneously.

Normally, washing is somewhat boring, add clothes, detergent, bleach if needed, turn Machine On, and transfer Clothes to the Dryer when the Wash Cycle has Completed. This Machine makes Washing / Drying 'Enjoyable', The Dispensers Hold Detergent, Softener, and Bleach for more than 1 Cycle, I've had this Machine for about 3 Weeks, and have filled the Dispensers only 1 Time so far, my Wife washes clothes every day, this Machine does have Wi-Fi and does updates when needed, my Wife uses the App to get Alerts regarding detergent and softener levels, as well as the status of the Wash / Dry Cycle. This Machine uses a normal 120v Wall Socket instead of a 240v, and surprisingly, it does not need an exhaust Hose for the Dryer. For Me, It saves Space since I'm using a Single Machine for the Washing and Drying, If you purchase this Machine, you will not be disappointed, However, I do suggest purchasing the optional pedestal stand, it's worth the money, and adds a little more height to the Washer Dryer Unit, I give this Machine a 5 out of 5 Stars.

Wow... we are experincing what the top reviews say. It works like a champ. Unless we do a very large load, dryness is great. I think it treats the clothes gently. On heavier, larger loads, we add additional dry time. Love how you put dirty clothes in and clean clothes come out. I have our machine notify us 5 min before cycle ends.
It is truly like a tank and is very heavy at 300 pounds. We love the fact that it doesnt need a vent and doesnt get burning hot like standard dryers do. We have ours installed in an upstairs closet. The directions say 0" clearance needed on sides and top of unit. I noticed the water supply lines installed did make a banging sound when water is called for and shuts off. I put pipe insulation on the supply lines and it stopped banging noises.
Also like being able to fill the detergent up to 32 loads before refilling.
We LOVE this unit.

This machine doubled the storage space in my laundry closet. Living in a condo, this was one of the best upgrades I've made to my place. Not only is it a great space saving pption, but its quiet and energy efficient.
I love being able to throw in a load of laundry before going to bed and waking up to a dry pile of clothing waiting in the machine. I was one of those people that would forget to move the laundry over from the wash to the drier, now I no longer have the need to worry about that.
All of the parts are easy to maintain and easy to clean. The machine is connected to my phone and will send me a reminder if detergent needs to be added or if something needs to be cleaned and maintained. This is like a step into the future.

Impressive Performance with a Major Drawback

I recently purchased the GE Appliances heat pump washer/dryer combo, and overall, I am impressed with its performance and energy efficiency. The unit efficiently combines washing and drying functionalities, making it a convenient addition to any household. However, there is one significant drawback that has impacted my overall satisfaction with the product.
The main issue lies in the lack of adjustable drying temperature. As an owner of delicate cotton and wool garments, I had hoped that the heat pump technology would deliver lower drying temperatures to prevent fabric shrinkage. Unfortunately, after conducting infrared thermometer measurements, I found that the average drying temperature hovers around 159°F, posing a risk to my delicate clothes.
Despite selecting the Delicate cycle, the drying temperature remains consistent with other cycles, rendering it unsuitable for handling delicate fabrics. This limitation defeats the purpose of having a washer/dryer combo, as manually running the drying cycle separately negates the convenience it promises.
In comparison to conventional dryers that offer temperature settings, I find it disappointing that this modern unit lacks this basic feature. Customizable drying temperatures would enhance the appliance's versatility, catering to various fabric types and individual preferences.
Despite this major drawback, the unit's efficient operation, energy-saving capabilities, and seamless integration of washing and drying processes cannot be overlooked. However, the inability to adjust the drying temperature significantly impacts its suitability for delicate clothing items.
In conclusion, the GE Appliances heat pump washer/dryer combo offers impressive performance but falls short in addressing the critical issue of adjustable drying temperatures for delicate fabrics. I urge the company to consider incorporating this essential feature through a future software update to meet the expectations of discerning customers seeking a comprehensive laundry solution.
