Customers find value in the UltraFast 4.8 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Smart Front Load Washer and Electric Dryer Combo's ease of use and energy efficiency, while also appreciating its low noise level, large capacity, and ventless design. Some customers have noted longer drying times to be a drawback. Air it out after delivery!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing came in and stunk up our laundry room and kitchen for 3 days. We had to turn on the exhaust fans and open the garage door & kitchen window to help air it out. Also ran a few loads. The unit does clean the clothes very well. It is odd and takes time to get used to the drying. It comes out humid and "feels wetish", but is not and needs a minute or two to air out before being fully dry. My Biggest complaint is it came with a small dent bu Best Buy is not willing to do anything about it. Also again, make sure to air it out or run some loads before use because it sinks. All in all...if you want to save space, and you like the idea of no longer using the dryer vent, I'd say it's a potential buy. Saves space and cleans clothes well from what I can tell and all the features are great too.

The best financial decision I ever made
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my small apartment and I’ve never felt more happier to do my laundry than now. I can put my clothes in before work and come back and everything is nice a dry. At most it take 3 hours to wash and dry, but that’s still half the time than when I had another washer dryer combo. And the auto softener/detergent dispensers are the best features, just load up the liquids and it uses the proper amount every single time. There’s a lot I can go on about, the app feature, the easy maintenance, electric efficiency, etc… This may seem a bit pricey but for what it’s worth, it’s a life changer.

Aweeesome!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the sleek design. It’s very quiet and best feature of all is that it stores and dispenses detergent and softner. The app is very user friendly and commicates with you during the cycle. My kids have a bad habit of starting their laundry and forgetting it, which results in having to wash them again….now that is no longer an issue and the clothes come out dry and smelling amazing. This machine has definitely made our lives easier and stressfree when it comes to laundry.

Love this machine!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Machine is great. Installers were amazing!! The machine is so convenient for a small family. It’s longer to do a load because you have to wait for the entire wash and dry cycle before you can start another load. But for me, I only do one load of laundry once a week so this is perfect. I do not have to switch the laundry back-and-forth. Everything is clean and neat and high-tech. I can start the laundry cycle from upstairs on my phone. I can restart the wrinkle free process if I leave it too long in the machine It’s absolutely great.

Not much space
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love mine, if you don’t have space for 2. Get this one. I will say it has some trouble drying all the way throughout, sometimes you will have to run the dryer part twice. We have had our about a year and so far so great!

Best washer/dryer
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having two of these together for 6 months I can say it's one of the best purchases I've made. I was a little worried at the start with people saying it takes forever to dry or doesn't dry esp. having 5 peoples laundry to do, but that's not the case. These things are AMAZING. Being able to start a load of laundry and it be fully done in about 2 hours is so worth it. Get two if you can! I've not had any issues with them so far and they dry very well and seem to be much more delicate with my clothes than traditional washer/dryers. The only thing I can say that would cause long dry times is large/bulky bedding or overloading the washer which is to be expected. I cannot recommend these enough.

Amazing washer and dryer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing machine. I will not go back to the standard individual washer and dryer. This is perfect for condos or laundry spaces that require stack or compact machines. Perfect for any house also. It washes clothes clean and dryers amazing without cooking your clothes like conventional dryers. The heat pump system works. I love that it's ventless and runs on a 120v outlet. The app works great and keeps you informed of the status. We love this machine.

Efficient and sleek machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had this combo for a few weeks so far, and was most worried about not being able to wash a load and dry and load at the same time (large family). It has not been an issue. Further, I am finding the convenience of not having to wait to switch loads from washer to dryer to be adding efficiencies to my day. I still have a lot learn regarding the app and settings, but so far I’m really glad I purchased this machine. Ventless was the primary reason we went with it - but every other feature is paying off.

One stop shop and no more sour clothes.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Uses a regular outlet instead of a 220v. It uses half the space. Worry free as is it is auto detergent and softener liquids. One stop shop. Ideal for our family.

Does what its meant to do.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer/dryer combo works well and can help reduce washing time, depending on your perspective. It uses an AI feature to calculate the optimal washing and drying times, but this can sometimes result in longer cycles than expected. Personally, I feel it adds unnecessary time to the process, although this isn't a major issue if you have a smaller household. One downside is that you have to wait for both washing and drying to be fully completed before starting another load. If you're accustomed to doing laundry at a faster pace—like starting a new load while the previous one dries—this could be frustrating. As a single adult living with other single adults, this setup works fine for us because we simply load it up and let it run. However, keep in mind that overloading the machine can affect drying efficiency, and the cycle times will increase. Overall, it’s not a deal-breaker for us, but worth noting if you're used to multitasking with your laundry. Personally, if I had known how frustrating this combo could be, I’m not sure I would have chosen it, especially since I'm used to doing my laundry back to back. On the plus side, it does save time by automatically starting the drying cycle once the wash is complete, so you don’t have to transfer the load to a separate dryer. However, if you're accustomed to doing multiple loads in quick succession, the waiting time for both washing and drying to finish could be a bit inconvenient.

New technology, not there yet.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first one came, and I believed it was defective. It was VERY loud, shook so much it moved an inch or two on the floor. The second one came, same thing.. It’s still much louder then a normal washer and dryer, the clothes feel damp when you first take them out but a quick shake and they are dry feeling. I don’t feel like I can wash as much because you need to leave room for the dry cycle. I also don’t like how the clothes smell when they come out. The BEST part is not having to flip over laundry! But the cycles often take close to 3 hours to complete. The delivery guy talked me into getting the stand for it, which I did. I’m 5,3.. I can’t reach the tray to put the soap in with the base stand. I have to use a step stool to put detergent in. However with 3 teenagers, I’m going back to separate washer and dryer. We do a lot of laundry, I think this washer would be great for a smaller family or couple who had less laundry. There are cool features. Sometimes I do like it, but not enough to keep it.

Convenient machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very convenient. It's nice not needing the gas hookup or fancy electric plug. It uses less space. I like not having to switch from washer to dryer. I really like the automatic detergent dispenser and delayed start option is nice too. You do need to shake our you clothes as you pull them out after drying.

After owning for 2 years, we DO NOT recommend!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you look at the majority of reviews, they are from people who have only owned the unit for just weeks or several months. I would have given it a glowing review 4 months in! We have had it for about 2 years now, and it has been a nightmare. In fact, there is a class-action lawsuit against GE for this unit. About a year in, we started using it only for wash and taking our clothing to dry at the laundromat - now we do both washing and drying there because the unit barely dries at all. We have had a service tech come out several times but to no avail. The unit's primary design flaw prevents users and service technicians from accessing areas that need to be cleaned or serviced. The design of the unit has users interfacing with the lint trap in a particular way - via an extremely narrow 2 inch wide by 7 inch tall slot at the top of the drying unit. The recommended brushes for this unit do NOT address the buildup, nor reach the major buildup spots. You are unable to reach with a proper cleaning or vacuuming tool per the narrow slot mentioned. Most importantly, the amount of buildup of oils and residue, per the closed loop nature of the condenser system, can only be cleaned and removed with efforts beyond a vacuum or brush, requiring the units costly and impractical disassembly. The user manual states "clean inside the filter compartment by removing the filter frame. Use either a vacuum with a crevice tool attachment or the Appliance Brush Set. When cleaning, be careful not to damage or bend the fins of the evaporator which is just inside the area to the right of the opening." Upon first servicing of the unit, said damage to fin was present. Given the design of this unit, it is clear that there is literally no way to clean this unit short of recurring disassembly without knowledge that regular maintenance will cause damage to this unit. Users are being instructed to clean their units and are provided no way to do so without damage occurring due to the access design per manufacturer. The filter compartment does not create a tight seal with the filter itself, which allows fine lint and debris to blow around the filter itself and naturally this clogs and combines with evaporated detergent inside the closed loop of the condenser and its fins. In short, we do NOT recommend this unit.

Simplify your laundry!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This really is a great machine. You have to read about it and follow the directions! It works great for our two person home but it might not work out for larger families. We love the simplicity of going from dirty to dry clean clothes without intervention, we also appreciate the vent less dryer which makes it much easier to install in a tight spot. The unit is large, but without the vent connector on the back you can get it closer to the wall. About the only real complaint we have is the lack of dryer cycle options. It's pretty much auto (which covers 90% of everyday stuff) but other than that it is timed or air. Tricky for clothes that require low heat drying. Because it goes immediately from wet to dry the drying cycle is a little longer than what you're used to but it's a give-and-take. I highly recommend buying it with the pedestal to get the door a little higher off the floor. We have been using it for several months and we are very pleased with the unit.

Almost everything you need in a washer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I love it. Now I need one that folds and puts the clothes away. All the features you could want. No vent, ability to add 50 oz of detergent and fabric softener, ect. Only minor issue is that you have to add time to dryer, sensor leaves slightly damp otherwise.

GE Profile washer, dryer, combo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything works perfect. I actually really love this washer dryer combo. Best part is you don’t have to have an outside vent. I’ve read a lot of reviews about how lint gets past the filter and can clog up the heat exchanger. I’m being very careful to clean all the lint.

Great set it and forget it !
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine certainly makes the clothes feel cleaner and fresher. All the way around is a great machine. One thing that they could have done better. The sensitivity of the lint filter. If you use fabric softner wash tje filters more often than recommended. Otherwise it will take some time to dry your clothes. The fabric softner slightly stops air flow and wherefore delays your drying cycle. Other than that it is an amazing machine.
