Machine is great. Installers were amazing!! The machine is so convenient for a small family. It’s longer to do a load because you have to wait for the entire wash and dry cycle before you can start another load. But for me, I only do one load of laundry once a week so this is perfect. I do not have to switch the laundry back-and-forth. Everything is clean and neat and high-tech. I can start the laundry cycle from upstairs on my phone. I can restart the wrinkle free process if I leave it too long in the machine It’s absolutely great.

GE Profile Washer Dryer Combo: purchased through Best Buy as well as their reliable set up team! --- **GE Profile Washer Dryer Combo Review** I recently purchased the GE Profile Washer Dryer Combo, and it has completely transformed my laundry routine. This appliance is absolutely fabulous, offering an all-in-one solution for washing, drying, softening, and fluffing laundry like never before. From the moment I started using it, I was impressed by its sleek design and intuitive interface. The washer dryer combo is not only efficient but also incredibly user-friendly. It eliminates the need to transfer clothes between machines, saving both time and effort. The washing cycle is powerful yet gentle, ensuring that clothes come out clean and well-maintained. The drying function is equally impressive, leaving laundry perfectly dry and ready to wear straight from the machine. The added feature of softening and fluffing clothes is a game-changer, making fabrics feel luxurious and fresh. In summary, the GE Profile Washer Dryer Combo has exceeded my expectations in every way. It delivers outstanding performance and convenience, making laundry day a breeze. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch laundry solution. --

Love this machine and the only down fall is the filter housing is small so cleaning it out a few times a year isn’t easy. My 11&13 year old can do their own laundry now

Uses a regular outlet instead of a 220v. It uses half the space. Worry free as is it is auto detergent and softener liquids. One stop shop. Ideal for our family.

This is the one you want, yes it takes a little longer than your wash cycle but that's because it's washing and drying, without a dryer vent and without gas or 220v. Honestly it's changed where you can place it, if your building a new house you could put one in your master closet with water hookup and a drain and a 110v 15a outlet. So far so good, we love it. I do wish you could reverse the front door but I was told you can't.

This machine certainly makes the clothes feel cleaner and fresher. All the way around is a great machine. One thing that they could have done better. The sensitivity of the lint filter. If you use fabric softner wash tje filters more often than recommended. Otherwise it will take some time to dry your clothes. The fabric softner slightly stops air flow and wherefore delays your drying cycle. Other than that it is an amazing machine.

We purchased two of these units as a replacement for our washer and gas dryer. We wanted to get two because we really wanted to use them to expedite our overall laundry experience and I must say that they've done exactly that! Admittedly, it was a bit of a risk to take as all in one units have traditionally had some reliability, size, and speed issues, however GE did an amazing job addressing almost all of the relevant issues and even made these units work on simple 110v outlets which is amazing. They literally sip energy but do the job just as fast. There are a couple of hiccups that folks should be aware of. First, they do dry your clothes and oftentimes they do a better job than my former gas dryer, however when you pull your clothes out it feels weird as the air within the machine is so very humid that you almost feel like the clothes must be wet - but they are not. You simply need to jiggle the garments and the hot moist air dissipates and you're left with dry clothes. It's a very unique experience and hard to understand as most dryers don't feel this way. Second, there is an issue that occasionally happens with very small loads (like 2 or 3 items) where it cannot get an accurate sense on the load distribution and it keeps trying incessantly. I hope that GE sends out a firmware fix for this issue because it is a bit annoying, but in the meantime it's best to ensure you're not washing very tiny loads. Finally, the app will continually remind you to fill the auto-dispense fabric softener reservoir even if you do not use fabric softener. Our family doesn't like to use fabric softener and I wish I could disable to notification that I haven't filled the auto dispenser. Overall I've been extremely satisfied and would purchase again. The small issues are just that - small. But they do the job and they do it super fast and very efficiently. I love that.

I really love this washer/dryer combo. We have a very small laundry room and wanted to open up more space for a storage cabinet and counter top beside the washer/dryer. This does the trick! No more forgetting a wet load of laundry. overnight or longer! Set it up and forget it. Once you remember, take out your dry clothes! Love the features!

After owning for 2 years, we DO NOT recommend!

If you look at the majority of reviews, they are from people who have only owned the unit for just weeks or several months. I would have given it a glowing review 4 months in! We have had it for about 2 years now, and it has been a nightmare. In fact, there is a class-action lawsuit against GE for this unit. About a year in, we started using it only for wash and taking our clothing to dry at the laundromat - now we do both washing and drying there because the unit barely dries at all. We have had a service tech come out several times but to no avail. The unit's primary design flaw prevents users and service technicians from accessing areas that need to be cleaned or serviced. The design of the unit has users interfacing with the lint trap in a particular way - via an extremely narrow 2 inch wide by 7 inch tall slot at the top of the drying unit. The recommended brushes for this unit do NOT address the buildup, nor reach the major buildup spots. You are unable to reach with a proper cleaning or vacuuming tool per the narrow slot mentioned. Most importantly, the amount of buildup of oils and residue, per the closed loop nature of the condenser system, can only be cleaned and removed with efforts beyond a vacuum or brush, requiring the units costly and impractical disassembly. The user manual states "clean inside the filter compartment by removing the filter frame. Use either a vacuum with a crevice tool attachment or the Appliance Brush Set. When cleaning, be careful not to damage or bend the fins of the evaporator which is just inside the area to the right of the opening." Upon first servicing of the unit, said damage to fin was present. Given the design of this unit, it is clear that there is literally no way to clean this unit short of recurring disassembly without knowledge that regular maintenance will cause damage to this unit. Users are being instructed to clean their units and are provided no way to do so without damage occurring due to the access design per manufacturer. The filter compartment does not create a tight seal with the filter itself, which allows fine lint and debris to blow around the filter itself and naturally this clogs and combines with evaporated detergent inside the closed loop of the condenser and its fins. In short, we do NOT recommend this unit.

Pros: - Ventless, this is a big one for me. My vent to the outside was always getting clogged and needing to get cleaned out. - Uses 110 volt outlet instead of 220 volt outlet - Saves a lot of space in my utility room - Has a 50oz reservoir for detergent so you don't have to add detergent on every load - Nice not having to move clothes from washer to drier Cons: - Slower than my old washer / drier - Can't do 2 loads in parallel (i.e. dry load #1 while load#2 is washing)

I have owned this for 2 yrs and it has been a nightmare from the beginning. Clothes never dry even after 2-3 hrs on dry cycle, it is loud, house shakes when in use, and its a pain to clean filters. GE is less than helpful and Best Buy said I had to go thru GE for issues. My warrantly expired 3 weeks ago and machine wont work at all now. Tried to return after purchase and would not let me until I had GE service 5 times and it was considered a lemon within a year. I had to deal with it and now it wont work at all. Save yourself and DO NOT BUY THIS, it is the WORST purchase I ever made. BUYER BEWARE would rate zero stars if it would let me

Everything works perfect. I actually really love this washer dryer combo. Best part is you don’t have to have an outside vent. I’ve read a lot of reviews about how lint gets past the filter and can clog up the heat exchanger. I’m being very careful to clean all the lint.

Best thing I have ever bought. This is for the ADHD people who forget to flip the wash. Set it and walk away. I love being able to toss a load in the morning then in the afternoon when I am done with work I just have to fold. Most loads are 2 - 2.5 hours start to finish. The towels and bedding can take up to 4 hours, they are my last load on wash days. No more laundry setting in the washer for days and having to be rewashed. The display is easy to read and simple to follow. The app is nice, you can control the machine from anywhere. I like being able to load the soap and the machine will remind me when a refill is needed.

Unit takes a really long time to dry. Maintenance is more complicated than classic units. Purchased 9 months ago, and it's already in need of service. I only do about 10 loads a month. Disappointed. Would go with separate w/d units in the future.

My improperly working dryer venting had to be rerouted outside my wall for a cost of $1400. I fortuitiously stumbled upon this combo on a Twitter post and jumped: replace my dying washer and dryer with a new and superior one, and not pay for ugly ducts, with a net expense of only $799. I could not be happier or feel more blessed. It is so easy to load dirty clothes and not come back until clothes are dry and ready to fold. The only thing that is not automated is putting the laundry in and then taking it out. At first there was a bad smell, but a search of the internet showed this was common and solved with using vinegar as my fabric softener, which I always do with non-bedding/towels anyway. By having automatic dispensing of detergent and fabric softener (vinegar), I am no longer under- or over-using those products, and there are no spills to make a mess and clean. I have always disliked doing laundry and found it so unpleasant. Not anymore. It's easy and a breeze. Plus, I have so much more space in my laundry room, which is nice.

Good product. I do like the benefit of not having to take the clothes out of the washer and load the dryer. Time to completion can be a bit long but since this is all in one it was about the same amount of time I wasted letting the clothes sit in the washer. I always use the 'more dry' option so that I don't have to worry about the clothes feeling damp. Definitely saves a ton on my energy bill using this though.

HIGHLY would recommend purchasing. We have waited months until writing a review to give a more accurate review. This was such a great purchase. It does operate a little differently than a regular washer or dryer, but it sends information to your phone or (my favorite) it guides you through reminders and what to do on the screen. It holds so much detergent and softener and makes everything so easy. It will take a little bit to get used to the laundry feeling ever so slightly damp but when you take it out and start folding or putting it away, it is totally dry. It works on a regular outlet so you need to have one of those nearby, but you can put it anywhere (like maybe in a closet so your laundry is closer to where it needs to go) because it runs on a regular outlet and is ventless. Would purchase over and over and over again and am planning on getting another one when we renovate our closets / bedrooms.

This is the best investment ive made. Love it you can put in load and set and its done by and waiting in the morning or whenever you are ready. Ive washed 12 loads so far. It does take little getting use to when load is done you open the door the clothes feel like they are slightly damp but they are not. When you give a quick shake they are fine. This has to do with heat pump drying. Even though i have a dryer vent i love that fact i dont have to vent this unit. The laundry room doesnt get as hot. Also these units produce less lent.
