I can't quite understand why this purchase seemed so "foreign" to me, but maybe it's because I've been a side-by-side washer/dryer person since I was old enough to reach my parent's top loader in their basement. Therefore, deciding to go all-in on a front-loading all-in-one made me nervous, as I'd read and seen various negative reviews, and buying this one gave me heart palpitations I didn't need. Thus far, my fear of use has been assuaged by watching videos about the Profile and simply using it as it should be (there are instructional videos on YouTube, and GE has someone watching and responding to comments and questions on selected reviews). Having an app on my smartphone that keeps me posted on the Profile's status is mind-blowing, but overall, I'm getting used to this new appliance in my house. I'm growing to like the machine, and I hope we'll have much time to get to know each other. I wonder if GE makes a dishwasher similar to the W/D combo... (HINT: They do.)

I love this thing. It’s not really in our budget but my pros outweighed the cons. I have adhd and often forget my laundry in the washing machine. Having to wash them 2–3x. Then, my old dryer was lacking. It would take over 4 hours for me to clean our clothes and if we wanna be technical days because I’d forget and have to rewash. Not anymore. I put our clothes in, it washes and dries them. When I go to the dryer, they’re clean. I do stuff it as full as I’m able to. I also use the extra spin on it. I’ve only had a balancing problem, one time, due to putting 4 pairs of 2xl sized jeans in there with our other clothes on top. I love that I just put them in and my phone will remind me about the clothes in the dryer, too! We use the “more water” and “more dry”. I can still do about 3-4 loads a day, if I need to. This has caught me up to a small load, put in at night, and take them out in the morning. We have a family of 5. (3 adults and 2 stinky boys,9&7) I read other reviews about them coming out “wet”. They do feel “damp” when you take them out. But if you were to shake it in the air, it would be dry. I remember reading in the instructions that it’s like a steam heat. So, we haven’t had any issues drying things besides the 4 pairs of jeans (with regular clothes too) I’ve washed all our linen in it. I can wash 2 twin size sheet set/blankets. I could even wash our king sheets and blanket if I wanted to but I would separate them. I use the more water because we use gain and it was leaving a yellow stain on them. But the more water fixed that. It’ll alert me when I need to add more detergent, I can even connect it to Amazon and it will order it, itself. I honestly can’t say enough nice things about this. Like I said. ADHD. It’s been such a game changer. Our clothes always smell nice. I didn’t realize we smelled bad until I had the new ones and my old ones in front of me. My husband and his brother live here and they make dog food. You’d never even know. I also like that there’s hardly ever lint but you do get a message to change it, every cycle and there’s no way to turn it off because it’s ventless. I’ve now used every setting and every cycle. Now, if there’s anything that I don’t fully like, it’s the app. It is kinda confusing. You can’t turn it on from it and you can’t really mess with the settings on it. But you can select the detergent amounts, it alerts about the filter, it tells you how many cycles you’ve done and how many you’ve done per day. It’ll tell you how much detergent is left and when you need to fill it. You can turn on more drying time from it. See how much time is left. My favorite function is it telling me there are 5 minutes left. When it’s finished. How long the load has been in there. Now, if only it would fold them. It’d be even more perfect. We also got the pedestal. I hate doing laundry but this has seriously helped tremendously. No more “I forgot to dry them”. I’d get another if I could afford it.

Oh my goodness, I’m loving this thing! I put my dirty clothes in, and they come out clean, dry, and humid, but the humidity goes away. It’s a weird feeling but it works. My clothes actually finish around the 2 hour mark and my clothes smell way better that my traditional washer/dryer. I DO NOT smell a funny new machine smell like some other reviews that I watched before buying. My clothes only smell like the Tide detergent & fabric softener that I use. Nothing else. Anyways, I actually get excited when it comes time to do laundry, believe or not, because this machine brings me satisfaction by doing everything that they advertise. By that, I mean solving all the frustrating parts of all other washers and dryers. I wish that GE would post videos to explain the other features. If you select dewrinkle, it doesn’t dry your clothes. I find it best to just leave it on the default settings, so be aware. The first I washed was my King size comforter and it came out clean, dry and it smelled really good.

I just replaced my washer and dryer with this all in one. All I can say is I love it!!! It is super easy to use with the app and on the machine itself. It is the most quiet washer/dryer I have ever heard ( or not heard ). I would highly recommend especially if you have a laundry room that is smaller like mine.

This thing is amazing!!!! I absolutely LOVE my new w/d combo! We have a super small laundry room and opting for a one machine option freed up much needed extra storage space. Yay! We also opted for the pedestal to raise it a little, and it’s perfect! So easy to use. Put your clothes in, start it, and walk away! No need to wait until the washer is done so you can switch it out before you leave so your clothes don’t get smelly. (That is honestly the best part!) Our clothes are also coming out cleaner and fresher than ever before, and seem to stay that way longer. I was worried about some reviews stating that clothes could feel damp when the dryer cycle is done. And they do. But! The video you watch with the set up tells you to just shake the item out a voila it’s dry. True story! It works! And now I actually love that the dryer is ventless! Overall, I am super pleased with this machine and I would 100% recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

This product is fantastic! I love how I can pre-fill the detergent and fabric softener without having to worry about filling them up for each load. I have no issues with drying. My clothes dry perfectly. This product is perfect for a person who is always on the go. I often forget to switch my clothes from the washer to the dryer, so this product has helped me with that. I no longer have to worry about moldy clothes that have been sitting in the washer.

Works as advertised. I liked it so much, I bought another one. I put a splitter on the water hoses and both lines fit in the drain. Being ventless means saving on those semi-annual vent cleanings. Laundry has become less of a burden with five people who change clothes too much. One does the job, I just wanted to make my job a lot simpler. The app lets you know when detergent and softener are low. It also tells you when there are 5 minutes left for the cycle. I also love that you can adjust how much detergent and softener go into the cycles. My towels smell so good. Okay I can’t keep raving, bottom line - I love them!!!

This washer dryer combo is quiet, easy to use and able to wash & dry a normal load in under 2 hours. You can cook a gourmet meal and don’t have to worry about doing the laundry. The GE Profile is doing it for you!! Go ahead!!! Make the investment!!! It is worth every penny!!!

Beautiful machine! Has taken me awhile to figure out the works, but I’ve got it. The lint filter is to me, kinda wonkey. Freed up a lot of space in laundry room!

This GE washer/dryer combo is amazing. We love it because it takes aways from all of the extra work from taking out of washer to dryer. The times it take to wash and dry doesn't take any longer than a normal wash and dry cycle... except you put it in and forget it. You can even download it to your phone and add to WIFI to control it frim your phone, Alexa or Goggle. The extra plus is it will give you extra space in your washroom.

The ability to store and auto dispense detergent and softener is great. Its makes doing laundry feel like less of a chore. Uses less water then our old traditional top load washer. Large capacity fits our bigest loads. Having one unit in our laundry room allowed more room to add a sink. It has been a great investment.

It's perfect size for my limited space as I did not want stack and prefer ventless system. However, because of ventless it took forever to finish a load. A load of queen sheet, 4 pillow cases took almost two hours with Quick cycle that estimated 1 hr 7 mins. The time kept slipping. 1 min on the app screen went for 15 mins. I hate the system like this and used a few times in Europe/ Asia. I thought this one would have huge improve and close to the cycle time it claims. If you want to throw in and collect hours later this would work. I almost kept it but then it did not dry well, always wrinkles; noisy and making banging noises at washing cycle. I ordered when they had promotion with free pedestal which did not work well at all. Huge vibration at some spinning cycle (high speed). Lint trap is a slot and lint collects inside which will require vacuum and harder to clean than regular dryer. The delivery team came back and refused to adjust as they said many customers had the same problem and should take the pedetal off which required another work order/ team to do. So I decided to return because I don't think it's worth $27xx ($24xx plus installation, taxes). GE don't tell to update to the latest software version. I did and I did not see any relevant to the problems here rather than the hardware.

Absolutely love it! It’s saves so much space especially when you live in small spaces,. The unit is also very appealing to the eye for people with an open laundry room. You have to know how to properly care for it…which for me took a technician coming out (whom was far more helpful than the owners manual). The unit also has a pet setting to remove the pet hair prior to going into the wash cycle.

So far so good! Only problem that we had it was that it was too heavy for 2 people to bring it up to the second floor! So we had to be rescheduled when we where expecting to have it done the same day so make sure you have a 4 men team scheduled for the delivery from the get go, Other than that we love it so far! So convenient thet we bought 2! You will need a couple of extra connections for that to work. A 2 y connectors for the hot and cold water and a y connector for the drains. But thats it! Good internet connection and app support is a must! Using with android works flawlessly.

I love this washer! The fact that I can load the washer with detergent and fabric softener is brilliant. Great to stop the kids from using too much detergent.

Only had it for a few weeks and we love it. It’s quieter than others we have had. It’s works great, the app that works with the machine is easy to use. We are a little tech savvy so to some that aren’t it might take a little getting use to. I love the fact you just add a bunch of detergent, bleach, and fabric softener and use the app to set what you are washing and what to use. The dryer does good it could be better some items like my husband khaki dress pants come out wrinkly but they are dry, it’s really nice to be able to save space in the laundry room as well and have more storage

The day it arrived after the initial install setup i proceeded to set up wifi and had troubles so i called th service line and got help . The service rep was verg helpful, The problem was me ,i wasn't paying attention lol. I then read all instructions and started a load and thats when i ran into more issues of my own making. I've never had a smart washer and this one is intelligent beyond my imagination.. So when it first starts its cycle it goes through a load sensing phase and it maylast 3 to 4 minutes . At the 1 minute mark i thought it was in a dry mode because the load was spinning and apparently was equalizing the load to keep it more balanced..Thats smart ! I on the otger hand assumed that it wasn't in the wash mode so after a couple of reattemps to start wash cycle i stopoed the dry cycle and it went into wash cycle ,so I'm assuming there was an issue with machine and after washing several loads manually starting wash and then starting dry cycles after wash cycle began . I called for a technician service call and 2 days later he shows up and walksme through the process .. well i felt like a complete moron..lol. I wasn't allowing machine to cycle through the load sensing cycle .. Thanks to the patience of the service tech and GE for there Help..The machine works great. Thank you Best buy for your professionalism and sales representative ..This was one of the best experiences I've ever had buying a new appliance.. Best Buy was willing to replace machine no questions asked and I believe this to tremendous customer service . I would highly recommend this mavhineand Recommend buying it through Bst Buy.. 2 months and 40 cycles in and all I can say is it works and is easy to use but it only performs with daily cleaning of the filter and lint trap. It also get super hot during the drying cycle as the condenser does its best to evaporate the moisture. The best feature schrduling your clothes to wash overnight and be fresh and ready for when you wake up.

Love our new combo washer and dryer for multiple reasons. We live in a condo unit that does not have an outside dryer vent, but one is not necessary with this system. Also, appreciate not needing to add soup with each load and the small amount of power required to run the unit.

We had excellent service at the Noblesville Best Buy. The staff is so helpful! We returned an item that just didn’t fit our expectations and needs. The clothes smell amazing and small loads are great. The heavier items did not dry completely with sensor. So the efficiency for what we need was not there. The customer service and team effort to keep their customers happy was evident! Highly recommend this store!
