It’s worth every penny. I was hesitant for two years before we just took a chance on it. It does everything for you and the app is a little glitchy but the machine itself is top notch

this is my 2nd GE profile combo. We have 2 small condos that this works perfectly for. You can customize your wash or dryer load or use what is provided. I am 70 y/o and can figure this out easliy. If my everyday home laundry breaks down, I would never hesitate replacing with the GE profile combo!!!

I was hesitant on buying one.The first month I had it the whole computer burned out and they did replace it but it’s loud because it’s not original. There is a flaw in the lint trap and you definitely have to keep up with cleaning it out or you could damage your machine.I do like having my space back in the laundry room and not switching the clothes to the dryer.

Pros:
-No laundry switching (really the best feature)
-Auto soap/softener dispenser (you don't have to mess w soap for a month
-Phone/watch app will alert you when the load is done so clothes don't sit and get wrinkled (very nice feature)
- Takes up less space than two units
- Uses 110v instead of 22v (energy efficient)
- Does not require dryer venting
Cons
- Definitely louder than my previous washer/dryer set
- Because it doesn't vent outside the room it is in will be warmer than if it were a typical dryer. I live in Florida so this is a factor (not a deal brreaker)

This is by far one of the best purchases I’ve ever made! Both my washer and dryer failed out after moving into this new house so the need for a new washer dryer was dire. This not only met that need, but also allowed me more space for storage. Additionally, it is so nice not having to swap loads between machines. It also is ventless which is awesome. Lastly this freed up my dryer outlet for my home charging on my EV. Overall, highly recommend!

Ok but worth the space saving and connivence factor. Hard to get clothes actually dry without adding more time which nears a 3 hr cycle

great investment for value of money and time. perfect for savings space in my home and $ for my electric bill. a little bit of a learning curve to use but a couple of you tube videos quells any doubts of use. In addition drying element could be better but, overall compared to previous challenge of having multiple machines machine worth its weight is cost savings and time.

We have had this unit for 2 years, never had a problem and still love it. So convenient for not having to change loads from washer to dryer. Start a load before going to bed or out shopping and laundry is ready to fold when I am ready.

Works well and very convenient. Ventless is great don't have to run long vents if you want to move to different part of house (first floor laundry for example). Only downfall if you can't change the temperature on the dryer. It's sensor dry or timed dry, it's not supposed to shrink your clothes due to the drying technology, hasn't yet but we'll see as time goes on as I use it more.

Hello - We're happy to hear that you're enjoying the performance from the UltraFast Combo! The Combo uses higher airflow which allow it to be gentler on the clothes. That is the main component of drying, more than heat. We have multiple temperature and humidity sensors in the Combo so it will never over-dry. There is also an Eco-Dry function (in the menu) which allows you to effectively adjust dryness level. We hope you find this information helpful. Thanks for being part of the Profile family! Have a wonderful day! -Don@GEA

Great for single guy. No problems yet, but I've only had the washer dryer for a couple of months. Loads of clothing only take about 2 and a half hours on average to wash and dry. Over 3 hours for bulky items like towels. Very convenient piece of equipment. Love that there is no dryer hose needed.

I've had it for a year barley works takes 3 days to dry. It worked great for 6 months then total trash. we did all the cleaning every time we use it and did our research. The lint pipe is in the middle of the machine and there is no way to get to it.the lint pipe hold moisture from the steam the lint goes in get wet and Sticks to the pipe in the middle of machine where you can't get too. The lint builds up. Now its barely working it washes clothes but they stink and it takes 3 days to dry one load. We're buying a new set.

We are more than happy to provide guidance with this combo's drying performance. At the end of the cycle, certain items and the air inside may feel slightly humid due to the air-tight seal. This is normal, and you can simply remove the items giving them a quick shake and they will feel dry in seconds. If your clothes still need a little extra drying, try the More Dry option to add additional drying time. We recommend ensuring that the combo is updated with the latest version of software, as old software can affect the performance of this appliance.
We have provided some additional troubleshooting tips to help with drying in the combo in the article "GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Clothes Not Dry When Drying Cycle is Complete". We have also provided some troubleshooting tips for cleaning the lint filter in the article "GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Advanced Cleaning of Lint Filter Compartment".

We love our Washer/Dryer Combo with Ventless Heat Pump. No more having to have the vent line cleared through the attic and no more of the Dryer stopping because there is lint in the Vent line somewhere. This product has been in our house about a month and we use it nearly every day. It does a great job of washing and drying our clothes. We don't have to worry about leaving a load in the washer and having to rerun it. We have used the DeWrinkle mode at least twice to great results!

The Future of Laundry

Incredible! I had an old washer and dryer I inherited from my father. They must've been 15+ years old. A normal load would take 5ish hours. Plush I'd have to manually move the clothes over. It got the job done, but this new washer/dryer combo changed laundry forever. I prefilled it with entire bottles of detergent and softener and it auto dispenses the correct amounts for me. I don't even tell it the load size b/c it auto detects the load size based on weight and spinning the laundry around for a bit. Total wash time is now down to 2 hours. The reviews stating that the clothes feel damp to the touch after they are done is true. But the manual admits this on the first page (it has to do with the drying technology). You just give each garment a shake and then they are magically dry to the touch. Tip: If the "damp to the touch" part concerns you, set spin cycle to level 5 (maximum) and turn on dry boost. This will add 15-20 minutes to the total time, but clothes come out feeling dryer. (But this isn't really necessary, just shake out the garment after pulling it out and it will feel dry!). Some people say the spin cycle sounds noisy, but I don't hear it at all. Maybe it's b/c I am used to 15 year old equipment. With the space it saved me, I put a folding table where the dryer used to be. I wish this was out when my house was being built, I would've had water lines installed in the walk-in closet. If you are on the fence about buying this, do yourself a favor, pull the trigger and change the way you do laundry forever.

An amazing machine, so unique and efficient. When our dryer needed repair our trusted repairman recommended we replace it (too costly to fix) and recommended we check out the GE All in One, he told us about how several customers had loved theirs. We did the research and went to Best Buy and purchased TWO units! We replaced one washer and one dryer with two GE All in Ones. They are fantastic, my wife is thrilled with them as it cuts her cleaning time in half and the clothes come out better than ever.

LOVE IT!!! It does seem to take longer to wash and dry, but the trade off is that is uses less water and electricity and I absolutely love that it’s a one step process because of my working schedule, I can now wash and dry clothes while I sleep at night! I wish it had a higher pedestal because it’s still low to the floor with the one that’s sold for this model; but I’ll just build my own so no worries now.

Congratulations on your UltraFast Combo! We are so pleased to hear you are loving it. It is so nice to have a washer & dryer combo that makes life easier. We will share your feedback about the pedestal with our engineering and design teams. The riser is compatible, but a pedestal isn't because of the overall height and weight of the product. Enjoy!

Traveling and living in Europe, I first encountered these combo machines. My old washer and dryer were dying. As I live in a small space I was so happy to see bb carried this machine. It is so wonderful! The trays that hold enough detergent and softener for 30+ loads, the phone controls, the large capacity. You just load the clothes, choose your settings, and 2-3 hrs later your load is dry. No need to stay home to move things from the washer to the dryer. With the large capacity I can wash bedding and other large items. Highly recommend.

Zero regrets buying this. I've had zero issues so far in the 4 months since purchasing. I am so impressed. The best part for me is being able to throw a load of laundry in before bed or before I leave for work and knowing I won't have to switch it over to the dryer. It is just taken care of. Installation was quick. While it is a pretty big (tall) machine, it saves me so much space. Can't recommend it enough. Worth every penny.
