I love not having to switch over my laundry. It does come out a little damp if you put in too big of a load of laundry, otherwise everything else about it is great.

Most complaints are about the drying times but I don’t mind. I rarely did multiple loads of laundry at once so the convienence of not having to move the clothes and just set and forget until I get notifed was worth it. i was able to close up the dryer vent hole and use a standard outlet. Electricty savings is an added perk.

Purchased this on 7/6. I have completed 28 loads of laundry so far. I love the fact that I can throw in a load of laundry and literally just hit start and it does the rest. All of your laundry soap goes inside and it uses what it needs to while washing. There is also a place for fabric softener and it uses that too (on its own). I love that I can do a load of laundry before I go to work and come home and it is all dry. The drum inside and the door is always dry after every load. Your clothes may "feel" a bit damp when you take them out, but that goes away within seconds....they recommend you shake your clothes when you pull them out. I have a few cats and the lint trap seems to be collecting most of it from my clothes which my old dryer didn't do well.
Yes, you can stack another one on top of you want to get 2 loads going at the same time. It works on 110 NOT 220 and no gas needed!
You will not be disappointed with this machine. The guys who delivered were really nice and they carried it upstairs and installed it for me.
The drum is large and I have no problem fitting comforters inside. I have also washed some area rugs and all types of clothes. Most loads are done within 2 hours (50 min to wash and about the same to dry) but it detects what is needed so you don't have to do anything but press power and start. There is a light inside the drum which makes it really easy to see inside while washing or when you open the door.

High Maintenance, Annoying issues

I have been using the Ge washer and dryer combo since october 2023, and it is driving me crazy with 2 issues.
1. My combo recently is making grinding sound when it starts running during washing cycle. The drying cycle seems do not have the sound.
2. The control lock feature keeps beeping like turning on and off when during washing and drying. The beeping sound stops after awhile then starts making the sound again.
Overall, the machine is still doing its job. This unit requires regular maintenance. I do not think it worths the money for the headache.

Love it! What a time/effort saver. Being a dedicated bachelor like me this machine is just what I need. Just throw the load in and when it beeps, it's done! No transfer. And it is ventless. No more cleaning out the vent hose! Great addition to my Man-cave(house). I do suggest purchasing the matching pedestal, either the 7" or the 16" with the deep drawer. Saves on the back-bending.

This unit does take time to run through both cycles but works well. We like to place bedding on the clothes line, so we turn off the dryer feature. I have not seen a difference in our electrical bill due to the AC running. Great space saver for small rooms.

This machine is awesome! It's my first time using a combo and I was skeptical but did a lot of research and read reviews. I was concerned about if this could really dry my clothes and if I'd need to iron to get the wrinkles out. WELL!!!.... my clothes came out chip dry, and the Dewrinkle setting made a dress come out as though I had ironed it....I'm very impressed!
The answer to clothes coming out chip dry is to NOT OVERLOAD THE MACHINE! This allows the clothes to have enough space so the hot air can move through and dry the clothes. This concept also applies to regular dryers if you don't want your clothes to come out wrinkled. I came from using one those small apartment stackable machines so I'm used to washing medium sized loads. This washer is about twice as big but I haven't maxed out it's capacity because I value having dried clothes.
This machine does take longer to dry though I'm guessing a regular dryer might take about 50min but this one for the same load might take about 75min (25min extra).
I bought an out of box unit and couldn't be happier especially with the discounted savings.

Absolutely love this unit! Washing/drying our clothes has never been so easy. The upfront cost is slightly higher than a stand alone washer and dryer. However, you recoup this by a lower electric consumption and detergent/fabric softer usage.

Terrible Delivery/Install Process

We would've loved to review this washer, but unfortunately Best Buy made that impossible. Their install tech was hands down the most insulting, rude, potentially incriminating person I've ever encountered (especially within my own home).
Immediately greeted me with attitude and disrespect at the door.
Had an issue with bringing it up 1 flight of steps (we have upstairs laundry - was told that's OK at the store).
Had an issue with removing old washer/dryer down the steps (that we paid for).
Then tells me it won't fit (impossible, it's as wide as our current washer and it's replacing both our WASHER AND DRYER).
Then refuses to do anything due to "corrosion" on our hookups and tells me they will not install it unless I get all my hookups replaced (there was minor surface corrosion present on the valves not in any way affecting the function).
The best part? When I'm basically pleading with the guy to help me in any way he can (we've been without laundry for 2 weeks) – he walks away from me mid conversation, through our house, and drives away. Then when I tried to call and cancel, he marked it delivered into our garage (presumably out of spite). So now I have a $2k washer that's potentially missing (or stolen), a huge mess on our hands, and STILL NO LAUNDRY FOR MY FAMILY.
Not even remotely the type of service I'd expect when paying $2400 out the door for the appliance, delivery, installation, and haul away.
If you need installation for any appliances, RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN FAR AWAY from Best Buy.

I definitely would recommend. Saves time because you can have it set to wash and dry at the same time and not wait for it to finish washing to switch to the dryer. I love my combo! Very informative on when to clean the filter or self clean.

So far so good, holds a good amount of laundry. Only draw back so far is that it takes 2 dry cycles for a full load, and is expensive. But it’s awesome for rv living.

Needed the most compact washer/dryer for our small utility room- this machine fits the bill!! So far, very happy with the machine. Easy to use, love the delayed start feature, and cleans the clothes well. Sometimes we need to add extra time to a dry cycle but we had to do that with our electric dryer. Overall - very happy!!
