I don't like how it shakes so badly that I feel it all the way in my family room (we have a crawlspace). It seems to be balanced enough that I don't know why it shakes so badly at times .. but i do enjoy not having to move clothes from the washer to the dryer and then just get notified on my phone so l when it's all done!

Please make sure all shipping bolts have been removed using the instructions found in the "Unpacking the Combo" section on pg. 24 of the owner's manual. If that's not the case, we recommend you follow the troubleshooting steps under the "Loud or unusual noise; vibration or shaking" section found on pg. 28 of the owner's manual. I also love that you can put auto dispense on and don't have to worry about the detergent or fabric softener. The only downside is that the clothes come out more wrinkled than a traditional dryer (despite taking them out quickly after load is done).

Posted .We recommend utilizing the Dewrinkle feature and/or the Wrinkle Care option to reduce wrinkles. More information on these features can be found on page 11 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the Best Buy product page. For additional tips, you can check out the “Wrinkling” troubleshooting section on page 30 of the Owner’s Manual.

Otherwise a good purchase

It worked inefficiently for a few months, having to run the dry cycle multiple times to get small loads dry, and then the real problems started. Multiple error codes coming up, locking the unit, having to unplug it mid cycle to turn it back on and start over. When we could get the cycles to run all the way through, it would always come out with wet clothes. We have the Best Buy Total Tech membership which has been extremely time consuming and proved to be useless. They have been out to our home 6 times replacing multiple parts and it seems to be worse than where we started. They are now trying to refer me out to a third party because their technicians and GE can’t seem to figure out the problem and say “it’s working as it should”. Unbelievable really. Especially based on some of the other positive reviews. I would also like to add that these are small loads we are attempting, an outfit and towel from that day. I would NEVER recommend this to anyone.

Convenient, space maker and worry free appliance

It was kind of heavy and had ti install it on second floor but still worth it, highly recommend this product.

It takes up less room than a typical 2-unit combo and it’s super user friendly. Dirty clothes go in, clean dry clothes come out!

Other than that, the unit is pretty nifty. I love the convenience of it and you’ll get used to your clothes feeling a bit damp for a couple min after the dryer cycle concludes, it’s great for no wrinkles. The trick is to pick the appropriate wash/dry cycle for the items being cleaned and the dry cycle will be pretty reliable.

Shakes a lot and ate a pillow

My previous machine cost $50 used from Craigslist and could be carried by almost anyone. This machine cost $2500 and the two delivery dudes struggled to carry it 50ft. Also it freakin ate a pillow. Now I am nervous to put anything I like in there. That being said I still like the machine. Other than the violent shaking of my house and the pillow murder it’s pretty good.

Because its a combo unit, I now have the space of one machine freed up. It does seem to take a bit longer to dry, probably due to the dehydration process versus using high heat.

Posted .We are sorry to hear you had to have the pump replaced on your new ultrafast combo. We'd like to assist with the drying performance of the unit. At the end of the cycle, certain items and the air inside may feel slightly humid due to the air-tight seal. This is normal. Simply remove the items giving them a quick shake and they will feel dry in seconds. If your clothes still need a little extra drying, try the “More Dry” option to add more drying time.
Also, be sure to update the software when needed. Keeping it connected to WiFi means you will always be notified through the SmartHQ app when software updates are available. These software updates can optimize your Combo's performance and address any potential drying issues.
