But Best Buy made it right and delivered us a second unit right away and this unit has been a dream. It is what is advertised. Very pleased!

There's an article on our website that can help check on that, it's titled: GE PROFILE™ ULTRAFAST COMBO WASHER/DRYER - FINDING THE SOFTWARE VERSION ID. You can find that by clicking on the Support tab. We also have troubleshooting tips in the manual that may be helpful; you can view the manual on our website via the unit's product page. Kind of a pain, but convenient

The convenience of not having to move laundry over to the dryer carries this thing a long way. It requires more babying than other machines because of the closed system, so expect to be clearing lint. We got a dryer vent brush to get in and clear up the buildup every month or so. Also has a trap for the wastewater to keep anything to big from washing down and clogging things, which is great, except that the drain seems to be designed for someone with a floor drain. It's almost impossible to clear the drain trap without flooding the floor.

Posted .To help prevent water from getting on the floor when cleaning the drain trap, we recommend placing a shallow pan or dish under the pump access door and using towels for protection. When removing the filter, pull down the pour spout and turn the pump filter counterclockwise slowly to control the water flow—it's normal to catch about a pint of water during this process. -- We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear you find the convenience of the Combo valuable. Only thing I dont like is that if its a heavy load (towels, bedding sweats etc) it take 1+ hour to dry. Has a quick cycle option at 1h 10m if you want your clothes washed and dried so thats a plus but only if its a small load. Overall its worth looking into if you dont have the space for 2 seperate machines.

I’m one of those persons that never transfer clean laundry to the dryer in a timely way. This makes my life so much easier. I love that I don’t need to worry about the detergent or softener.

Energy costs are lower at night. I am also using so much less detergent because it is only using what it needs based on the size of the load. I love, love, love this machine!
