The ability to both wash and dry keeps us from having to go downstairs and swap over the laundry. For those who easily forget about their laundry, this machine is perfect.

It flooded our laundry area. GE won't come service it because it's outside the one year warranty (we bought it 19 months ago!) and no technician in the area (SF Bay Area) can come fix it because it's too new. GE has terrible customer service. All this money on an appliance that is supposed to be state of the art that is now a giant steel brick. Be sure to buy the longest extended warranty you can get if you decide to buy this anyway so you don't end up like us.

We have had it about a month and it is working as advertised. I don’t think it would work well for a large family but it works good for us.

Just load it, set how you want to wash and dry and hit the panel. Once done, the clothes are dry, No more moving clothes from washer to dryer or a dryer vent to worry about.

Posted .We'd like to provide clarification on how the unique, fast airflow system and ventless technology operate. Warm high-speed air extracts moisture from your garments to gently dry the load with less heat. At the end of the cycle, certain items and the air inside the unit may feel slightly humid due to the airtight seal. This is normal operation. If you remove the items and simply give them a quick shake, they’ll feel dry in seconds. There are some factors that can extend the dry time; for example, if the lint filter is full or the load is improperly sorted. Further information on this can be found in the troubleshooting tips on page 31 of the Use and Care Manual which is located in the "From the Manufacturer" section of this product page. If needed in the future, we're always here to assist and ensure you get the most out of your new appliances.

Created more space in our laundry room. Easy to put in a load and come back later and its all done. Capacity is a little smaller than top loads it seems but not a big deal.

The machine itself is great, and i would 10/10 reccomend, however do not purchase from best buy. We ordered our machine over 30 days ago. We paid for delivery, and the unit was delivered damaged. I contacted customer service immediatly (within 110 minutes of delivery). The customer service agent told me nothing could be done until the order posted. Fast forward a week or so, and the order posts. I contacted customer service again. I told them I would be fine keeping the machine, however I would like something for a refund due to damages. I was told no, not possible, we needed to do a return/exchange. We get that scheduled. Fast forward again - delivery day. The same guys came to redeliver. They did not want to carry the unit up, and the new one down, so they asked if we would be okay with a partial refund. We agreed, as that is all we were looking for. Best buy customer care involved again. We agreed upon a refund amount and were told we would receive a best buy gift card in the mail within two weeks. Two weeks has now gone by, and no refund in the mail. I contact customer support, and it has not been processed yet, and it will be an additional 14 days and nothing more can be done At this point i will be filing a claim on my credit card, due to lack of refund and goods delivered damaged.

Amazing all in one!

Being able to place one load in and have it wash and dry is fantastic! Drying has never been an issue as well. The unit successfully senses the moisture and dries everything completely.

It takes 5 hours for this machine to dry a small load of work clothes. Contacted GE and tried to get a repair man. A GE certified repairs man told me he doesn’t work on this unit
