    Purchased from the store with the riser, picked up riser a few days later. Delivery scheduled March 8. Renovated the laundry room to accommodate the unit. New plumping electrical outlets buildout paint completed. Woke up to an Email on the 7th on the cancellation of delivery, took the day off. Contacted numerous people from costumer care with no help. Finally found out the unit was on back order about 10pm that night. Told units would be in stock on March 17 and scheduled for delivery on March 22. Today March 21 followed up on status called costumer service to find out the delivery was cancelled and still on back order asked to speak to a supervisor with no luck. Back order delivery date now is May 21 . Offered a comparable unit. No comparable units to the GE. Asked to speak to the store manager where purchased. Waiting on that still very disappointed on GE Best Buy customer service.

    Great idea, just bad execution. I feel like because its a standard outlet the heat doesn't get a hot as it needs, to allow the the mositer in the machine to evaporate.

      Your feedback is important to us.We will take this all into consideration as we are always looking for ways we can make upgrades and improvements on our future builds. This Combo unit has what’s called Ventless Heat Pump Technology. It helps prevent over-drying as it uses sensors, lower temperatures, and high airflow to achieve optimal care of your laundry during your dry cycle. Because the UltraFast Combo dries clothes at a consistent temperature in a sealed drum, they may not feel as dry or as warm as you may be used to with past dryers. At the end of the cycle, certain items and the air inside may feel slightly humid due to the air-tight seal. This is to be expected. Simply remove the items giving them a quick shake and they will feel dry in seconds. GE_Appliances

For a drying concern, you may want to make sure the lint filter is clean, and consider checking the software to ensure it’s up-to-date. Information about checking the software is available in an article on our GE Appliances website titled “GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Finding the Software Version ID”; you can view that by looking up the title and clicking the ‘Support’ tab. Troubleshooting tips for your model are available on page 27 of the manual; the manual can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product’s page. If you’re not able to resolve your concern with troubleshooting and think service may be needed, Bodewell (GE Appliances’ team of appliance care experts) can be reached at 833-426-3393.     Unless you are single without children, this combo is awful. It is constantly clogged and requires manual unclogging.

    So far the app says I’ve 3 cycles completed which is true and it’s already making a loud noise I didn’t install it in time for a free return if not I would’ve returned it sounds like it’s rubbing on something or something is lose in there

    Worst experience ever! Purchased in July 2023, GE already replaced the unit last March and we still have problems with the new unit. Best Buy won’t help, and GE can’t get to us for a week to look for repairs. Horrible machine and horrible service all around. Hoping GE will eventually give us credit to purchase standalone washer dryer unit. Stay away from GE and stay away from Best Buy

    Wife wrestled with this thing for a month before I sent it back, clothes smelled like chemical, wouldn’t dry enough… if your a single dude, this is a god send.

    When delivered, technician set up; he then turned it on and left. Almost immediately, it started smoking bad - smoke detectors went off! My wife turned it off and unplugged it as it really scared her. Bad smell was in the house all day. Went back to Best Buy and bought another washer & dryer to replace that one. It was never used to review below.

    Really dissatisfied. Struggling to dry anything. Geek squad came out and had no clue how to resolve my problem. Overpriced

After a few shakes, the clothes will feel dry. If you're experiencing really long dry times, we'd recommend checking to make sure your software is updated.
