Not impressed.

Had this for a year now and it went out just after the year warranty. Started with the clothes not drying (more than the shake it in the air and it'll be dry method would fix), now it won't even put water in the unit. The vent to the heat pump gets clogged easily and if you have pets, the drain will get plugged. Sad thing is that I got this when it was 3K and it's been a giant piece of crap most of the time.

Takes way to long

Posted .Hello - Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This is not a normal occurrence for the Ultrafast Combo. We recommend that you download the SmartHQ app to make sure your unit has the latest software update. Also, check to make sure that the machine is properly leveled and the clench nuts on the legs are locked. Out of balance can contribute to extended load sensing times. We hope you find this helpful. Purchased new but sent a used one

Washer combo was heavy not to mention covered in water, the inside drum was rusted and the power cord was bent. I purchased this new not open box or refurbished, now I have to wait another week for a replacement and not to mention cost me $50 for the laundry mat while I’m Waiting on a replacement. Customer service did not do anything for my inconvenience will never make a big purchase from Best Buy again

Horrible machine, do not buy!

I've had three service calls on this machine, it does not work. I have had multiple calls with service and am already having a major tech repair. GE has been horrible with their customer service and because I was a week out of my return date due to remodel construction, I was unable to return with Best Buy. DO NOT BUY.

Had to exchange twice still enop

Great concept just wish it would have worked out. Im replaceing it with LG 5.0 combo. Hope it works better. Will update

DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY.

The third party Best Buy hired damaged our laundry box and could not even install the water line without ruining the threads and BREAKING OFF the hot water knob. To top it all off, they dropped the plastic knob in the drain and lied, saying it was never there. Please please please buy your laundry machine somewhere else and save yourself so much hassle and grief.

Worse Laundry Machine ever

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is the worse laundry machine we've ever owned I wouldn't recommend it to anyone service has been here multiple times for 353 error and board issues they replaced 1 board with new board 2nd board was junk tech never verified the machine was working properly before leaving we try to wash and the buttons don't allow us to start the machine so once again we are waiting for another tech to come next week

Clothes don't fully dry and are very wrinkled. Now machine doesn't dry at all. Technicians say its due to pet hair that passes straight through the filter, which will be a recurring issue that can only be fixed by a tech. DO NOT BUY, especially if you have pets. GE has been terrible to work with. This machine should not be sold to anyone.

Horrible Deliver/Installation Experiences

I ordered this combo machine as a replacement. On two separate occasions, and after at least 50 phone calls over that month, Bestbuy has stood me up on scheduled installation appointments on two separate occasions, after waiting at home all day on each occasion. No call, no nothing. When calling the customer “service” number, each time I was told my appointment was still good and that installers would be arriving, while claiming they had no way of reaching the installers. Those were lies!!

Broke in 4 months!! Doesnt dry well

It was a nightmare for me… first month was good.. then the dryer part of rhe machine broke.. and even if you have best buy extended warranty you still have to go through the manufacturer before they can fix it.., so basically your first year of extended warranty is covered by best buy… long story short dont get this product

Toxic smell

I am concerned this smell is harmful as this appliance also has the Prop 65 warning.

This should help resolve any new machine smells that may exist as a residual odor from the manufacturing process. Please be assured there is no toxic aspect to the components we use in the manufacture of this unit. California Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, is required by California to inform consumers and manufacturers about protecting the state’s drinking water sources from contaminants.
