We got this unit about. Month ago and are really loving it. The clothes do indeed come out very clean and dry and the app is easy to use. My only criticisms are that you can’t pair the unit to more than one phone. As an appliance used by the whole family this seems short sighted. The second is that the lint trap is a little clumsy. It tends to drop out fuzz when removed. But both of those are minor issues. In fact after we used the machine for 2 weeks we bought a second one! Now we can do all the laundry for a family of 4 in only 6-8 hours. Now it’s obviously a new concept so longevity will be a question mark for a while but I can say that so far we’ve loved it!

Beautiful machine! Has taken me awhile to figure out the works, but I’ve got it. The lint filter is to me, kinda wonkey. Freed up a lot of space in laundry room!

The unit appears to operate as designed and advertised. We selected this unit for a mid-term rental unit for its space saving size and generous load capacity.

I love this thing, I can’t say enough how MUCH I love it. No it will not be as fast as a separate washer and you can do one load at a time. You know what I don’t have to do anymore….have time to wait to switch the load or remember. Nope just throwing it in go to bed and boom I have clean fresh clothes to go in the morning, just like a dishwasher. It’s one less thing, for me that’s a game changer that gave back my time now I literally can do laundry in my sleep. One thing, it takes time to adjust to the drying, try a few methods, work the different options. We use the wrinkle care for example for doing it over night that way it’s dry but stays wrinkle free. Also leave little room, you can’t over pack these. It will work but drying will vary.

I can't quite understand why this purchase seemed so "foreign" to me, but maybe it's because I've been a side-by-side washer/dryer person since I was old enough to reach my parent's top loader in their basement. Therefore, deciding to go all-in on a front-loading all-in-one made me nervous, as I'd read and seen various negative reviews, and buying this one gave me heart palpitations I didn't need. Thus far, my fear of use has been assuaged by watching videos about the Profile and simply using it as it should be (there are instructional videos on YouTube, and GE has someone watching and responding to comments and questions on selected reviews). Having an app on my smartphone that keeps me posted on the Profile's status is mind-blowing, but overall, I'm getting used to this new appliance in my house. I'm growing to like the machine, and I hope we'll have much time to get to know each other. I wonder if GE makes a dishwasher similar to the W/D combo... (HINT: They do.)

My GE Washing machine combo was delivered this morning. This combo unit is AMAZING! I have been using it all day with no problems. The WiFi connection to the machine was flawless and quick to connect. I first started by washing 2 pairs of jeans. 1 hour and 12 minutes later I removed them from the machine. They looked better than they have ever looked before-they almost looked brand new. Not one wrinkle in either pair. My second load (and last for the day) consisted of bath towels, bath mats, and a small fleece blanket. Even though I forgot to add fabric softener, less than 2 hours later I had clean, dry, soft, fluffy towels and blanket! My machine is installed in a new linen closet on the second floor. It is also installed on top of the matching riser. have not yet installed closet doors on my closet. I’ve been worried about noise level and vibration. I worried for nothing. This thing is powerful but QUIET. My bedroom is 8 feet away from the open laundry closet. With my bedroom door closed I cannot hear anything. It is so quiet I kept going to look at it to make sure it was still running. I realize 1 day-2 loads of laundry is not a great test but if it continues to wash and dry as well as it did today I will be thrilled. My Best Buy installers, Donnie and Greg, were also outstanding!

Oh my goodness, I’m loving this thing! I put my dirty clothes in, and they come out clean, dry, and humid, but the humidity goes away. It’s a weird feeling but it works. My clothes actually finish around the 2 hour mark and my clothes smell way better that my traditional washer/dryer. I DO NOT smell a funny new machine smell like some other reviews that I watched before buying. My clothes only smell like the Tide detergent & fabric softener that I use. Nothing else. Anyways, I actually get excited when it comes time to do laundry, believe or not, because this machine brings me satisfaction by doing everything that they advertise. By that, I mean solving all the frustrating parts of all other washers and dryers. I wish that GE would post videos to explain the other features. If you select dewrinkle, it doesn’t dry your clothes. I find it best to just leave it on the default settings, so be aware. The first I washed was my King size comforter and it came out clean, dry and it smelled really good.

This thing is amazing!!!! I absolutely LOVE my new w/d combo! We have a super small laundry room and opting for a one machine option freed up much needed extra storage space. Yay! We also opted for the pedestal to raise it a little, and it’s perfect! So easy to use. Put your clothes in, start it, and walk away! No need to wait until the washer is done so you can switch it out before you leave so your clothes don’t get smelly. (That is honestly the best part!) Our clothes are also coming out cleaner and fresher than ever before, and seem to stay that way longer. I was worried about some reviews stating that clothes could feel damp when the dryer cycle is done. And they do. But! The video you watch with the set up tells you to just shake the item out a voila it’s dry. True story! It works! And now I actually love that the dryer is ventless! Overall, I am super pleased with this machine and I would 100% recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

I just replaced my washer and dryer with this all in one. All I can say is I love it!!! It is super easy to use with the app and on the machine itself. It is the most quiet washer/dryer I have ever heard ( or not heard ). I would highly recommend especially if you have a laundry room that is smaller like mine.

I rarely write reviews, but this purchase genuinely let me down. I bought this GE Profile unit for my mom as a Christmas gift, thinking it would save space in her laundry room and make washing and drying more convenient. Unfortunately, it did the exact opposite. A single load takes around 4 hours and even after all that time, the clothes come out barely dry and still damp. It makes it nearly impossible to get laundry done efficiently, especially if you have more than one load. The whole purpose was to cut down on hassle, but it ended up creating more frustration. For how expensive this unit is, the performance is completely unacceptable. I was embarrassed that this was a gift for my mom, and we ultimately had to return it because it just didn’t work as advertised. I really wanted to love this, but it was a very poor purchase and not worth the money at all. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for efficiency or convenience.

By far the best thing I’ve invested in, in a while. This is great for tight spaces, and works amazingly this thing will be around for a while. The only downfall i see right now is it says take your vacuum hose and clean lint out of the top where the filter goes. But it the normal hose is to thick and dont fit inside. Ive made my own device to clean the lint out but it would be nice if they madesomething to actually clean this

Machine along with the stand definitely take up some space .. Plan on 2.5-3 hours on a normal load , not a big deal if your doing allot of laundry.. The automatic laundry and softener dispenser are great , along with just hitting play and it does the rest was right into drying … Over a like it because I need something ventless and the other bonus make it easy

We really had high hopes for this, but it just doesn't dry clothes. The sensor dry will always have an item or two that is still damp. Shaking the clothes won't fix . You will have to use time dry for 30 minutes to 1 hour longer before everything will be dry. Cleaning out the lint filter every time won't cure it either. On the jeans download setting it took 1hr for wash and 2hr for drying for 2 pairs of jeans, a jean jacket and shorts. Returning this appliance now.

This washer dryer combo is quiet, easy to use and able to wash & dry a normal load in under 2 hours. You can cook a gourmet meal and don’t have to worry about doing the laundry. The GE Profile is doing it for you!! Go ahead!!! Make the investment!!! It is worth every penny!!!

This combo does the job and saves a ton of room. Just know the full cycle takes about 2 hours, and sometimes clothes come out a little wrinkly. A small trade-off for the convenience! I like it just fine.

So far so good! Only problem that we had it was that it was too heavy for 2 people to bring it up to the second floor! So we had to be rescheduled when we where expecting to have it done the same day so make sure you have a 4 men team scheduled for the delivery from the get go, Other than that we love it so far! So convenient thet we bought 2! You will need a couple of extra connections for that to work. A 2 y connectors for the hot and cold water and a y connector for the drains. But thats it! Good internet connection and app support is a must! Using with android works flawlessly.

Very convenient. Saves a lot of space. If you are planning to move every year is a nightmare because it weighs more than 300 pounds!!! Detergent auto dispense is one of the best features, you just drop your laundry and press a button and that’s it, it will send you a notification to your phone when is done!!! I had it now for a couple months and enjoying it! There’s OTA updates for the machine also.

The day it arrived after the initial install setup i proceeded to set up wifi and had troubles so i called th service line and got help . The service rep was verg helpful, The problem was me ,i wasn't paying attention lol. I then read all instructions and started a load and thats when i ran into more issues of my own making. I've never had a smart washer and this one is intelligent beyond my imagination.. So when it first starts its cycle it goes through a load sensing phase and it maylast 3 to 4 minutes . At the 1 minute mark i thought it was in a dry mode because the load was spinning and apparently was equalizing the load to keep it more balanced..Thats smart ! I on the otger hand assumed that it wasn't in the wash mode so after a couple of reattemps to start wash cycle i stopoed the dry cycle and it went into wash cycle ,so I'm assuming there was an issue with machine and after washing several loads manually starting wash and then starting dry cycles after wash cycle began . I called for a technician service call and 2 days later he shows up and walksme through the process .. well i felt like a complete moron..lol. I wasn't allowing machine to cycle through the load sensing cycle .. Thanks to the patience of the service tech and GE for there Help..The machine works great. Thank you Best buy for your professionalism and sales representative ..This was one of the best experiences I've ever had buying a new appliance.. Best Buy was willing to replace machine no questions asked and I believe this to tremendous customer service . I would highly recommend this mavhineand Recommend buying it through Bst Buy.. This product is fantastic! I love how I can pre-fill the detergent and fabric softener without having to worry about filling them up for each load. I have no issues with drying. My clothes dry perfectly. This product is perfect for a person who is always on the go. I often forget to switch my clothes from the washer to the dryer, so this product has helped me with that. I no longer have to worry about moldy clothes that have been sitting in the washer.

2 months and 40 cycles in and all I can say is it works and is easy to use but it only performs with daily cleaning of the filter and lint trap. It also get super hot during the drying cycle as the condenser does its best to evaporate the moisture. The best feature schrduling your clothes to wash overnight and be fresh and ready for when you wake up.
