This machine is super convenient and comparable to buying a separate washer and dryer when on sale. I will say, we use the “more dry” feature because we have a lot of thick clothes and items we wash. But for delicates and thinner items, the regular air dry works fine. Yes it does feel different than when using regular dryers. But I believe it’s true that it’s because it’s not over-drying and damaging your clothes. I did buy the warranty since it’s a newer model and I want to have security in case something does go wrong. It does take a while for washing and drying, but honestly comparable to having two separate machines, the time is just added together. We don’t generally have a ton of clothes to wash at once so I don’t mind it taking a bit of time like others mention.

If you're going to buy one of these, I strongly suggest factoring the extended warranty into the price. The inventer control board died at 14 months, two months out of warranty. The Geek Squad techs have been to our house every Wednesday for the past month trying to fix it. The most recent repair only lasted 5 days. Now, nothing. It won't turn on at all. Watch YouTube videos on the monthly maintenance you'll need to perform to keep it running. There's two adults and three dogs in our household. You will have to make a real effort to learn the machine to produce normal/expected outcomes. The repair bill, thus far, is $700. We've had good luck with GE products in the past, but our experience with this product will have us looking elsewhere.

Had to replace pump with in two months of buying, it doea not dry very well. Would not recommend to larger families.

With a small laundry room this is a great alternative. Now I can install a base cabinet next to it and have a folding area. The unit does an excellent job of washing and drying, plus I don't need to use dryer sheets as there is no static build up!

So far it’s performed as advertised. It was quick to set up and easy to use. It’s also nice that there is no venting required and that the entire unit works on 110 voltage. Now it’s just hoping it’s durable and long lasting to be worth the price.

This all in one really is amazing. Putting the clothes in, starting it and when you come back they are dry. No more forgetting to change the laundry over. This machine is also ductless which creates way less heat. I am thinking about about getting another one to be super efficient.

The convience of the combo is good and helps a lot with laundry , the drying part takes to long to dry

We received the first one and it was defective from the first load. But Best Buy made it right and delivered us a second unit right away and this unit has been a dream. It is what is advertised. Very pleased!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. Took me a minute to get used to the feeling that maybe items weren't dry - but they are! As they say, shake the clothing out and you will see that everything is dry.

I am very sad to write this, Please take your time to better research. I wanted this machine for a very long time, it was the perfect match for my space, I have it for 6 months now and I absoblutly REGRET this purchase, total WASTE of money, Now I HATE doing laundry. its large capacity but will NOT handle large loads, can not handle multiple towels, can NOT handle fluffy blnakets or ropes, Will take up to 6 hours of work trying to dry for you to realize is soaked in hot water, and what about the clever drying filter? well that is so much work, cleaning that is very hard, I bought a special attachemtn for my dyson to collect the lint, and still a total hassle/failure, got some unaccesible lint that collects moisture and is not reachable, very concern about MOLD, the light loads that can handle will come out very wrinkle, even with the fancy dewrinkle feature that takes over 30min, I sure wish I can GET MY MONEY BACK.

While the ge profile 4.8 nuclear. Ft ultrafast combo washer has not been delivered yet, we are impressed with the new system and how it washes and dries in the same unit without venting, saving money on electricity.

We replaced our Washer & Dryer with this single unit, and it's working absolutely perfect. It's also saving a lot of space in our laundry room.

Wash and dry times seem a little longer than originally displayed and had a very very small splash of water left behind after first use but other than that it’s the best, makes life easy washing clothes before work or bed and not worrying about someone to put them in the dryer

Amazing purchase. Just be aware this unit weighs 300 lbs .. thats my absolute only complaint

I purchased this appliance because I needed to save space and I thought it was a great idea to do everything in one session. However, I have quickly found out why this is not the best design. First, the machine takes a very long time to go through the washing and drying cycle, but the worst part is, the dryer is not drying our items. The items are very damp and cannot be folded or hung up when they come out of the machine. I have put the items back in on dry only for over an hour and the machine still is not drying them so then I have to go and use my older dryer to dry my clothes. It defeats the whole purpose. 

A little noise, but does a great job and is very convenient

Wish I had never bought this, wish I would have read the bad reviews, I thought ours would be different. Within the year of having it we have had a tech come out to fix something two times, and now it's currently not working and our warranty is expired for general things, these have been our issues- 1. lint passes the lint "trap" (a sad excuse for a lint trap) and goes into the blue things to the right of the trap (the heating coils? idk). Bought a shop vac attachment to clean it, and it's a PAIN. It's so skinny that like nothing fits in there and it's nearly impossible to control the shop vac attachment to move it to where you want. 2. Currently there has been NO LINT on our lint trap. What does this mean? That the lint is stuck in that shoot that is supposed to push the lint up into the lint trap. So we aren't using it currently. 3. There is SO MUCH MAINTENANCE to keep this stupid contraption functional. If you want to try to fix it yourself, good luck. 4. Lint/dog fur gets stuck around the blue seal in the drum constantly, and I feel like I need to pull it off and I BET there's pounds of fur/hair/lint stuck under that. DO. NOT. BUY. Please, save yourself the money, this machine is horribly made.

Works great. Very heavy and hard to install but worth it in the end. Clothes come out dry everytime and the machine is dry after each load so no musty smell.

Love the convenience of the 2 in 1. My clothes have been coming out wonderful. Towels have taken longer than expected though.
