The product has been in use for about a month now, and I have no complaints. I love that I can control it from my phone. I love the freedom it gives me, and the efficiency when it comes to my electric bill.

Not worth the money!!! We truly wanted to live this, but don’t. You can’t just fluff a load without water splashing down the front of the glass. Socks and underwear are always stuck and sopping wet in the front door. It’s take 3 hours to fully dry a load, medium size at best. Needs serious improvement.
We appreciate you providing your feedback as we are always looking for ways we can improve moving forward. Some tips to keep in mind to help with dry time is that large, heavy fabrics contain more moisture and take longer to dry. We suggest separating large, heavy fabrics into smaller loads to speed drying time. Some additional tips can be found in your manual (page 26) which can also be found on the website. Dianna@GEProfile

So far the machine has worked perfectly. My electric bill has been less too.
Hi - That's wonderful to hear! We're thrilled to know that this Combo is a perfect fit for your daughter's kitchen and that she loves the duo functionality. Having both washer and dryer in one unit can indeed be incredibly convenient, especially in smaller spaces. If you or your daughter have any more feedback or if there's anything else we can assist you with, please feel free to reach out. Happy laundering! -Kacie@GEAppliances

So i was very unsure of this unit. Its expensive. Oh my goodness i love it so much! No vent needed and the filter works great. It does take on average i think 30% longer than a standard washer and dryer but i dont have to change anything its still as big as a standard front load washer. It takes so little power. And the smart despencers for detergent ans softener are awesome!! I tell everybody how much i love this thing. (Well not like a weirdo, i tell people when we talk about home upgrades)

We had such high hopes for this machine but it is a complete waste of money. I’m not sure how GE ever let this go into production with the design flaws. We have had 2 techs out within the first 10 months. The first tech did not run any proper diagnostics so we still had problems. Second tech found fault codes that have been in the system of the machine for 10 months. The first one appeared only 2 weeks after install, so we have essentially never had a properly working machine. I am going to be battling with GE for an extended warranty or completely new machines because our manufacturer warranty will expire 4 weeks after the next set of repairs which is not acceptable considering the machine has been broken since delivery. Would not recommend. This machine was not ready to go to market. It sounds amazing, but it turned out to be too good to be true. Can’t say enough bad things about our experience.
We take your feedback and concerns seriously and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We can definitely understand your frustration and hope that our service technician was able to come out to diagnose the problem with your unit. If you should still need further assistance please send us a PM/DM on any of our social media pages and please reference this review.

I want to start by saying the concept is great. The machine is beautiful and I really enjoyed it for about 30 days. I have had this washer/dryer combo for long enough (10-ish months) to advise others to choose something else. The first issue started only a couple of months into owning it. The clothes were dripping wet at the end of the dry cycle. The repair man came out and said it had a clog. The lint screen does not catch all of the hair and particles from sneaking past and creating a clog. This has been a nonstop issue. Error codes pop up on the screen with the red ring of death every few days and it is a gamble on whether or not the clothes are still going to be wet at the end of the cycle. I have put a "15 articles of clothing or less" limit on each wash (which is inconvenient for a $2500 machine). I religiously clean out the lint trap, have made brush and vacuum attachment devices to clean out the lint that gets stuck in the lint screen compartment (Shouldn't have to do), drain the bottom catch every 3 washes (there is hardly ever anything in it), turn on the "more dry" setting every wash, set the spin cycle to "extra high" to help wring out the clothes before the dry cycles starts, I run the self clean cycle every 3 or 4 days, sit on the floor for what feels like hours with a pair of tweezers and pick lint and hair out of the port holes in the blue silicone ring and between the ring and the metal drum. I try to keep it as clean as possible and keep the software up to date, but I still run into the error code and a major issue with the clothes not drying. I understand that the manufacturer states to shake the clothes when they are complete to achieve the dry feeling but my clothes are more damp than just shaking dry. Sometimes i can still wring water out of them. I am not one to complain about products but this washer dryer combo has been more of a hassle than a help. I gave it a fair chance by keeping it for as long as I have but I don't want to deal with it any longer. Getting a service tech out to fix the frequent issues is a nightmare and the lead time on parts to replace is 6 weeks. The price of this unit is not holding up to the standard it should be performing at.
We understand the disappointment caused by the experience you're having with your Combo. Please PM/DM us on Facebook/Instagram/X with a copy of your review, any service confirmation/case numbers you may have, and the model/serial numbers of your Combo so we can investigate further.
