Really great, kinda noisy

As someone who has difficulity with all the tasks required to do laundry, it helps so much not having to switch the laundry. Gets the clothes clean. The biggest downside is it is pretty loud.

Posted .Hi - Thank you for having purchased a Profile UltraFast Combo. We are thrilled to hear how much you love this unit and how it has simplified the task of doing laundry. The sound level of the Combo in washing is comparable to any of our other frontload washers. It is important that unit be properly installed, leveled and have the shipping bolts removed. In drying, the unit is quieter than standard dryers since the drum is insulated and there is no external venting. If you have concerns regarding the sound level, we recommend scheduling a service appointment to have the Combo checked. You may do so by calling 1-800-432-2737. We hope this is helpful. It then completely died on 10/9/23... I've had two GE third-party appliance repair services cancel service appointments with me because the unit is located in a laundry closet. Isn't that sort of location one of the primary reasons for the development of this machine... no venting required, available to apartment dwellers or people who don't have the ability to go to a basement? We are now waiting for a "GE technician" and I'm still not sure that they will service it. VERY disappointing and we're not sure what to do next.

It’s fine but I would not recommend

It doesn’t feel efficient: it’s really pretty and gets clothes clean but it’s an adjustment period to learn and the cleaning process is not efficient or effective. Would not replace with same product.

I had very limited space in my laundry room so condensing 2 machines into one was key. The laundry cycle doesn't take hours, it senses the load and determines how long the wash and dry cycle will take. The clothes come out completely dry. It is wonderful.

Some cycles do take longer if you stuff it. If you follow their recommendation it finishes in time. This machine requires you to do laundry different. I could do 4 full loads in a day. The nice thing is everything is dry and I don’t have to switch or restart. That being said, if you’re a weekend scrambler to do all the loads with kids it might not be your machine.

I thought that the clothes might be wet after the drying period ended, but no. All you have to do is put the clothes in and take them out after two hours.

I have had two separate companies come out for repairs and no one knows how to fix it.

Both would take well over 4 hours even for small loads. But worse than that is the smell. No matter what we did the clothes would smell like a sewer with this unit.

Like the extra space in our laundry room by only having one appliance. Wish the pedestal was taller I didn't need to bend over so far to load and unload.
