I really love this! As someone who has difficulity with all the tasks required to do laundry, it helps so much not having to switch the laundry. Gets the clothes clean. The biggest downside is it is pretty loud.

Works as listed, saves a lot of space in laundry room

Purchased the GE Profile combo and it was installed on 9/5/23 and LOVED it. It then completely died on 10/9/23... I've had two GE third-party appliance repair services cancel service appointments with me because the unit is located in a laundry closet. Isn't that sort of location one of the primary reasons for the development of this machine... no venting required, available to apartment dwellers or people who don't have the ability to go to a basement? We are now waiting for a "GE technician" and I'm still not sure that they will service it. VERY disappointing and we're not sure what to do next.

Stay away. We went through 2 of these. Both would take well over 4 hours even for small loads. But worse than that is the smell. No matter what we did the clothes would smell like a sewer with this unit.

Love it works great. No issues since purchased and no rewashes

I purchased this machine 6 months ago and two weeks ago it stopped draining. GE sent out two separate repair people to fix it and then didn't cover the cost because it was clogged. I clean the filter after every wash, but it apparently collects lint in places you cannot get to. It cost me $250 for him to clean it and $300 to have my laundry cleaned while out of service. This is the worst design ever and I have so much regret about purchasing this machine. Even when it works, it rarely dries my clothes. Bottom line - don't buy it. You will regret it.

I gave it 5 stars because it does do as it says. Some cycles do take longer if you stuff it. If you follow their recommendation it finishes in time. This machine requires you to do laundry different. I could do 4 full loads in a day. The nice thing is everything is dry and I don’t have to switch or restart. That being said, if you’re a weekend scrambler to do all the loads with kids it might not be your machine.

I was so fascinated by the reviews and features of the combo washer and dryer that I had to have one. My dryer was on its way out so I said what the heck and ordered one. How my home is setup is the laundry room is located on the second floor. I watched the two delivery guys struggle to get this 300lb behemoth up the stairs. I also purchased the pedestal for the machine, and watched the delivery put the stand on. I watched them turn the unit upside down placing it on its top to put the stand on when I believe it should have been placed on its side. After the test cycle completed I decided to try a load of laundry. At the very beginning of the unit starting I knew it wasn’t going to go well. The washer wobbled on startup just sensing the load. I continued to watch it, and what I experienced that other folks have experienced was the washer wouldn’t spin fast enough to get the water out the clothes. I had to stop the washer and take my clothes to the laundromat to finish the load. I called Bestbuy customer service and explained what happened, and no questions asked they offered to exchange it. I opted to keep my old washer and just replace my dryer. After considering the labor it took for two guys to get the washer upstairs and back down again to remove it. I didn’t want to risk any damage to my stairs or walls. I think this washer fits better on a first floor application.

Great product. I love the ventless idea and the heat pump

By far the worst purchase I have made in recent memory. I have had this for less than a year. According to the technicians who have come out to fix it multiple times, there is a known issue with the control boards randomly going out, stopping the machine from switching to dryer mode. So I essentially paid $2400 for a combo that only washes. Don't waste your money.

Works as advertised. Like the extra space in our laundry room by only having one appliance. Wish the pedestal was taller I didn't need to bend over so far to load and unload.
