This machine is by far the most expensive piece I have, but in my opinion is well worth it. It’s truly a set it and forget it machine. There are guidelines, keep the filters (traps) clean, use anti-water hammer devices on the water lines, and learn how to and use the self cleaning cycle. Buy this machine people! You won’t regret it.

A laundry gamechanger for sure. Love how easy it is to use and the space saving is amazing.

The ability to store and auto dispense detergent and softener is great. Its makes doing laundry feel like less of a chore. Uses less water then our old traditional top load washer. Large capacity fits our bigest loads. Having one unit in our laundry room allowed more room to add a sink. It has been a great investment.

This machine is great! As a person who constantly forgets to move my clothes over this is a game changer. As soon as I had this washer/dryer hooked up, I piled in 2 weeks worth of my clothes and it all came out clean and dry in about 3 hours. When I put normal loads in, its done in under 2 hrs! I only have room in this studio apartment for one machine and love that this saves space and does all the work of two machines!

Absolutely love my new washer and dryer combo!! I can wash and dry 2-3 loads a day! Some reviews states it doesn’t dry all the way well it is damp once you open the door but as soon as you get them out and start folding they are dry.

How can I count the many ways I love my GE Profile? The space it saves in my small bathroom, doing a load of laundry in about 2 hours, not having to constantly refill my soap and softener, still working on using the SMARTHQ, absolutely no odors or mold, best of all will be saving 50% more energy. I'm sure there's more but it's still too new.

Excellent Machine! I’ve been wanting a unit like this for years and finally bought it. It fit in my hall closet so I can do laundry in my home now, not the cold garage. Clothes come out great, I use the smart dispenser for detergent and softener and all I have to do it pick the setting and hit start, it does the rest and lets me know on my phone when it’s ready! Life changing!

Loving this purchase so far. I came from a Samsung heat pump and ventless dryer + washer that had a smaller capacity and was very low to the ground. This one is the perfect height and capacity. Needs a better way to clean filter but that’s a minor gripe. Washes and drives well and I love not having to move the clothes after it’s done washing.

The combo washer/dryer is a good concept but the loads are long and tend to leave clothes with wrinkles ... there is a mode for it but extremely long

As retired Seniors this was the perfect laundry solution for us. I was getting too short to easily use the controls on our stacked unit. Now the clothes go in & my phone tells me when they’re ready to fold. No more forgetting detergent or softener.

Great machine. Issues with static cling, so adding dryer sheets after wash cycle is necessary. Usually have to run the dry cycle twice. Love all the features though, including phone alerts when cycles are complete or detergent needs to be refilled. Has reduced my electricity compared to using a separate 220v dryer. Reduced water usage as well. Fits a fairly thick king size comforter. Highly recommended.

Was looking for a ventless full size washer dryer Combo. So happy I found this one it works great. There is an electronic smell at first but it goes away after a week or so. I do leave the unit open after a wash just till its dry. Kind of got use to doing that with my old washer so now its a habbit. Best Buy delivery was great not a scratch, very professional, on time and perfect installation.

So far it performs just as we expected. Very nice to not have the dryer duct shooting lint outside of the house and worry about whether or not it’s a fire hazard. Yes you should empty the lint tray after every single wash, but it only takes a minute and you get used to it. The combination unit is fully automated so you can control it from your phone. Haven’t done that very much but it is a nice feature. It’s cool getting text alerts and notifications on your phone when your laundry is complete or when it’s about to be complete. That helps you plan better. Once you buy one, it almost makes sense to get another one. So you can do two loads at once. We have one on a pedal stolen one knot on a pedestal. I prefer the pedestal option.

I’m guilty of leaving my clean clothes in the washer for an extended period of time. The GE Profile has been my best appliance purchase to date. The auto detergent and fabric softener dispenser are so convenient and only need to be filled up every 30 loads. I’d recommend this washer to anyone who hates doing laundry and forgets to put the clothes in the dryer after the wash cycle is done.

I bought the GE Profile washer/dryer combo the first week it came out. It’s ALMOST perfect and there are a few nitpicks but lets not waste your time. Overall the Pros by far outweigh the Cons. I operate a few rental units and THIS will be replacing all of my washer / dryer sets going forward. I literally just posted my Electrolux, Samsung and LG machines for sale on FB marketplace 10 minutes ago. I figured I’d write this review while it was fresh on my mind. I have been waiting for this appliance my entire life. I will never go back to using another stacked or side by side unit again. Here’s who this machine is for and who it’s not for… BUY THIS IF… You need to save space You are about to purchase a FULL SET (get this instead) You don’t want to run 220V electrical You want a cooler running laundry setup You want to save $$ on your power bill You like the idea of never having to leave the door open again to avoid a smelly washer DO NOT BUY THIS IF. You need to run multiple loads at the same time You currently have a full set and one machine has a problem (just fix it) You want a white machine (currently only comes in Gray) Pros: Ventless / ductless dryer Quiet Takes up less space Produces much less heat App messages are useful Controls are fantastic Great design / aesethetic Wi-Fi actually works (unlike LG and Samsung) The app connected on the first attempt. 110V is all you need! No 220v needed! All of the water drains out of the tub It’s easy to cancel a load (unlike LG) Has many flexible options Cons: Price should be lower The Lent trap is awkward to put back in To level the machine, the adjustable feet are a PAIN to adjust Heavy items only dry about 99.5%. Non issue but LOUDNESS Overall the machine noises are average. No issues but could be better. It is louder than my LG combo washer/dryer and louder than my Electrolux washer / dryer Water spraying into the tub is loud Spin Cycle is quiet Beeps & Noises The alerts from the machine are pleasant. The volume can be adjusted higher / lower. Much better than my very annoying LG that plays an entire song at the end of a cycle. The Washer Cleaning is excellent. I’m happy with the washing performance The Dryer Heavy towels come out about 99.8% dry. It’s not an issue, but it’s not as dry as my other dryers. That said, I have not needed to run the dryer twice after a load. There is room for improvement but I would still buy it again after having owned it.

Buyer Beware!! Do not purchase this unit. All clothes are coming out of the drying cycle wrinkled. I have tried reducing the load size, reducing the spin speed, adding anti-wrinkle fabric softener, adding dryer balls, increased the amount of water in the load, running an additional clean cycle; all attempts have been unsuccessful. I am having to re-dry clothes multiple times on de-wrinkle in very small loads to get some of the wrinkles out. I have not received any out of balance errors or any error codes at all. I have had 2 techs look at the machine and both determined there is nothing wrong with the machine other than it was not engineered to operate as intended. The tech has received the exact same complaint from other customers with this unit. This tech said that because the machine does not have ventilation it is not able to thoroughly dry clothes and causes wrinkles. This machine is not performing as advertised. GE has been unhelpful in my request to return the unit for a refund.

Wife was skeptical of a Combination washer and Dryer, but I don't think I could get her to go back.

It's everything it was advertised to be! It's quiet, efficient, washes and dries completely. I'm a household of one so it works great for my situation. A large family with many loads might not find it very time efficient, but in every other aspect there wouldn't be any other complaints in my opinion. And all the technical features are a definite plus!

I love it, it's a one stop shop on laundry days. It took me a little time getting used to the functions and the phone app but I've got it down. It's quiet, my laundry room does not get hot, and my clothes get cleaned, Drying may take a little more time, but the shaking out the clothes method works most of time.

So easy! Just put the clothing in and choose how you want it washed, turn it on and go to work, bed…. No changing it over and no wet clothes because you forgot to change it.
